I have fitted Bridgestone Turanza T005 tyres as original equipment on my SEAT León ST 1.5 TSI (2025) and, after around 6,000 kilometres of use, my experience has been very positive.
The tire offers very balanced performance, with excellent stability in both dry and wet conditions. In daily driving and on long journeys, it provides a high level of safety, with highly predictable grip and precise response in corners and braking.
I also highlight the high level of ride comfort: they are quiet, smooth, and comfortable, ideal for mixed city and highway use. Plus, they maintain their ride quality even from new, showing no signs of premature wear.
In short, the Turanza T005 strikes me as a very well-rounded passenger car tire, combining safety, comfort, and overall balance. A highly recommended option for those who value stable, quiet, and safe driving in all types of conditions.

Had these fitted to my new Mazda 3 in 2021. I currently have 94k kilometers and still have them fitted although I changed for winter tyres each season for about 3-4 months. But I am guessing they definitely have over 60K now. Would probably last even longer. I was very satisfied with them, good quiet general tyre. These were made in Japan. I am quite surprised by other reviews here. I am thinking about byuing them again in spring. or at least the front ones.

I had those tyres on my mitsubishi colt 2011 1.3 for about 4 years (Nov 2021- Sep 2025) and for about 106k kilometers on. In Greece all year around. They are exceptionally good in the wet, extremely long lasting, more than decent on dry roads - though not impressive imo, better fuel economy compared to previous hankooks i had on, noise and comfort isn't the best though. All in all, it's a very good tyre, I would 100% recommend it to the average commuter with a little bit drawback on noise and comfort, for the spirited driver it's still highly recommended, though dry grip and feedback could be better imo. A very good tyre by Bridgestone, a total value for money, considering how long those tyres lasted. After 40-50k kilometers, grip started fading, but in wet it was still there till the very end, impressive wet tyre.

Fitted since new on a 2019 Mazda 3 BP
My first impressions were okay, it was difficult to benchmark the tyre at first given the car and brand was new to me, but since changing them to Michelins, it's revealed just how far the Turanza T005s fall short with its other premium rivals.
Dry grip is perfectly acceptable, that is until you take it right to the limit and it begins to chew at the edges of the tyres, which happens incredibly fast.
The front left tyre had a split/crack in the sidewall, this was rectified by having a new one fitted, but this is where the serious problems began.
Since I now had two tyres with two tread depths, the edges wore down even quicker, to the point where massive lumps of rubber were beginning to tear off, see the picture attached.
This prompted the imminent replacement for the Michelins at the front only, and things got even worse.
The difference in wet grip made for a very confident front end, however, on more than one occasion, the back end where the Turanzas were still present could not keep up, this has resulted in the car oversteering.
After 3 years with the Bridgestones on the back, they both had very severe cracking.
Having replaced all of them with Michelins, the difference it has made to the car is night and day.
Another area where the Bridgestones fall short is road noise, I always presumed the car was loud when driving over poor quality roads, but it turns out these are susceptible to excessive roar, even when I just had the rears fitted.
The reason why I mention the Michelins is because in some cases, this tyre costs more, yet I have seen better all-round performance out of the midrange brands than I have others. Notably Toyos, which offer very similar grip abilities, but cost 2/3rds of the price, and they have lasted twice as long.
The Turanzas are very reliable in the dry, but the cost and what I got out of them left me extremely disappointed, and I won't be returning to the brand, it is huge shame given the Potenzas are decent.

This tyres are pretty solid for cruising. Grip is average for an EV with that instant torque, though—traction control jumps in when you mash the pedal, especially blasting out of corners or from a stop. In the wet, they’re good. I’ve hammered through some serious downpours at 120 km/h without any sketchy moments. Only gripe is they can slip a bit on wet acceleration, but no brown-pants situations so far.
I would say they are a better option than the Micheling e-Primacy that I had in my previous car

Came fitted from factory and were replaced initially for the same model. Grip is fairly good and predictable, both dry and wet. Comfort, efficiency and noise also satisfactory. On the other hand, steering feeling is somahow lacking, they don't last long and they are prone to punctures. Also they lack a rim protector which is very much in need given the amg.style rims are prone to scratching against curbs and similar obstacles. We are changing them for the Good Year F1 Assymetric 5/6 which is what we are driving in our other rides. They do not have the weakness this display, grip better, have nice steering feeling and last longer. They may not be as efficient or comfortable but they are close enough. Better all rounders, we expect. We'll review when changed and driven for a few thousand miles.

Update end of life review 15 July 2025.
One pair of tires, currently at front have reached the legal limit and had to be replaced, photo 1,2. I could not source the Turanza and I ended up with efficient grip performance. I fitted them yesterday so no much exposure for comparison.
I read the other poor reviews for turanza and I have been astonished how it is possible. Is it just the law of probabilities or something else. I believe I have covered over 50000 miles ,as below no issues. The specific pair was made in Hungary. I still have one pair on the rear axle photo3,4.
Never had a problem- over the past few years I drive in Canterbury poor roads with potholes. I have not experienced any puncture or tear/crack for a period of 6 years. What can you ask more for a tire.
I have had another set of tires turanza from Costco on a Citigroup wife’s car. They developed cracks and one of them burst likely from contact with a curb and under inflation down to 22 psi at some point.
Finally the only thing I could only ask the same exact set from the same batch and factory which is almost impossible.
I wish you all safe journeys!
My BMW 320d came with run flat tires but the driving was very stiff with a lot of noise and vibrations.
I call BMW ans questioned the type of tires that my car came originally.
It was non run flat 225/55/16R, the company that I bought the car paid for 4 new Bridzestone turanza.
I drove he car in weekly basis from Aberdeen to midlands and then from midlands to the south cost.
I drove any condition and time of the day and I never experienced any problem.
I really filled safe in any condition and also on rain and wet.
During the winter I was using winter tires - Michelin alpine since the BMW is dangerous driving on snow with summer tires.
I had only one flat, actually one small screw from one of my garage projects penetrated into the tire, I removed it after hundreds of miles and plug it.
Best tire ever.
I have tested other Bridgestone types in my old E30, michelin, vredestein and others but the specific tire appears flexible, safe, reliable, longlasting, trustworthy.
I was running the tire at the mid and higher pressures even when it was empty.
This is my first review for car tires.

OE tyre on my Cupra, a very quiet one, almost no road noise at motorway speed, not the best grip in the dry, good breaking in the wet, next one will be a performance, not a touring tyre

I bought the tires in March 2024. I was generally satisfied with them. At the beginning of July 2025, we had to replace the tires after 20,000 km because they were worn out. I think that's not enough performance. I won't buy any more Bridgestone tires.

i have used them for 30.000km (22 months) as they came with the car out of factory, second half of the experience was awful.
My following comments are for the second half of my experience:
Well there is hardly any grip. lots of skidding when first move especially upslope, even in dry asphalt.
Braking in wet conditions, ABS was kicking in almost each time and awful stopping distance.
On the autobahn, once gained speed and tyres are warm, handling is good but boy this must be my worst tyre experience so far. (driving for 18 years)
