The Tyre Reviews Score is the most comprehensive tyre scoring system available. It aggregates professional test data from multiple independent publications, user reviews, and consistency analysis using Bayesian statistical methods, weighted normalisation, and recency-adjusted scoring to produce a single, reliable performance rating.

Methodology & Configuration
Scoring Process
  1. Collect Test Data: Gather results from professional tyre tests across multiple publications. Minimum 1 test(s) required.
  2. Normalize Positions: Convert test positions to percentile scores using exponential weighting (factor: 1.2).
  3. Apply Recency Weighting: More recent tests are weighted higher with a decay rate of 0.95.
  4. Incorporate User Reviews: Factor in user review data (minimum 5 reviews). Weight: 15%.
  5. Bayesian Smoothing: Apply Bayesian prior (score: 7, weight: 1.5) to prevent extreme scores with limited data.
  6. Calculate Final Score: Combine all components using normalization factor of 1.1. Max score with limited data: 9.5.

Latest Tyre Test Results
The Linglong Comfort Master is the surprise of the test and the cheapest tyre in the field. Braking performance is strong, finishing second behind the Continental on both surfaces. On wet roads the tyre performs well, with good balance, direct turn-in and a neutral-to-understeer limit character. On dry roads it is weaker - steering response is slower, requiring larger inputs, and lateral grip is limited on the handling course. Rolling resistance is the worst in the test, around 13% higher than the best, equating to roughly 0.1-0.2 l/100km extra fuel consumption. Ride comfort and noise levels are good.

Top 3 Linglong Comfort Master Reviews

Given 99% while driving a Kia Motors Picanto (175/65 R14) on a combination of roads for 1,000 average miles
Excellent summer tires, for daily commuting, in the city and on the highway!!
Excellent grip in the dry. The same in the wet...!!
Comfortable and quiet tires, which allow for a more lively driving, beyond their conventional urban and interurban character...!!!
The car they were installed in is a Kia Picanto model of 2017...
Very pleased!!
They are not inferior to other more expensive ones...!!
Honest tires of Chinese origin, but manufactured in Serbia, that do their job very well!!
I highly recommend them!!
Of course I would buy them again!!

Initial Impressions Review
Given 87% while driving a Renault Megane 3 1.5 dCi (205/60 R16) on for 100 miles
I have not had these tires for very long, but my impressions are generally positive. There were no problems with balancing. At speeds of 120-150 it behaves perfectly, no vibrations or anything like that. I did not hear any abnormal noise, at least at low speeds. The name of the tire really corresponds to it, the tires are very comfortable. The set cost me $200. For its price, I definitely recommend it!
