Best Tyres for the Audi Audi A6

Im reviewing these tyres as alot of people review tyres with only minimal miles driven. I have a Audi A6 Avant 2.0 tdi Quattro. The tyres have done their job well. Dry driving and braking are very good as you would expect. A noise level of 70 db wasn't noticable and is around the average these days. Driving in the wet and anti aquaplanning is exemplory down to around 3mm of tyre tread.
My driving style isn't agressive but i do carry some speed into corners and late brake more than possibly the average user. I tend to try to flatren off corners and left the car slow during a corner and increase speed gradually at an apex, ( just to give an indication of driving style with mileage).
I have around 2.4 mm tread left on the front left and 3.1 tread on the front right, after 19000 miles of mixed motorway and normal road use. It's around this point, that these tyres rapidly drop off on aquaplanning in very wet condition on motorways. I would think so too would the very wet braking. On slower road use ( below 60mph), the car still handles well and grips well in most conditions. I have ordered the newer Turanza 6 at this tyre wear point, as I was very impressed by the older T005 through the life of these tyres. I would definately recommend these tyres for a confident, predictable & reliable premium tyre in all conditions.

Good tires for moderate driving in cold conditions, I have taken them in snow and icy mountain drives. The tread pattern is good, I've had no issue with them, they have enough grip, no slipping or sliding when taking off or cornering in snowy conditions, but my car is AWD and I drive carefully in such conditions. In wet conditions tire also perfroms well, fair aquaplaning capability, adequate grip, no issues. Everything is good up to the moment you start driving hard - you can tell these tires are not meant for speed. I only push my AWD car in dry conditions and let me tell you I was sliding all over the place, also weak braking capability. I dont want to imagine driving this tire hard in cold conditions. JUST DONT DRIVE HARD AND YOU WONT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS.

Tire size: 225/55 R 17 101V, Car: Audi A6 C7 3.0 TFSI Quattro. I bought these tires after watching Tyrereviews winter tire test. After switching from old Michelin Alpin 4, the first thing I've noticed was... silence. The gap was huge. These tires are quieter than my summer tires- Michelin Pilot Sport 4 (245/45 R18 99Y). I've tested them in almost every weather conditions. They are great. The bigest disadvantage is maybe snow grip- good but not exceptional (new winter tires are better in mild climate), but they saved me 2-3 times during winter skidding :). Definitely worh to buy, especially with cash back from Conti. In my opinion, considering value for money- better than Michelin.

Not bad in the dry do tend to understeer if fast cornering with higher and lower psi, I’ve read some reviews about these in the wet and I find them bad in the wet I wouldn’t have the same confidence in them as I would in the dry ( summer tyres ) I only have the car a few months but I’ll try a different set when the time comes and then compare

Last year bought 4x tyres for 4WD.
Start OK in year 2018, but 2000 km later started to feel vibration - result > tyre jumping along the grooves in wheel balancer.
To warranty = new tyres. Put them on and 2000km was ok. Drived 12 000 km (year total). Tyre worn maybe 1 to 1,5mm. So this far -very good result, despite the warranty case. And with this - good grip in dry and wet (even speeds 180 km/h +), and very good grip, tyres lasted well, low noise level.

Then winter and this year 2019 put them on. Almost first kilometers - vibration again. Went to first tyre shop to balance rims - everything ok. Started to look at car axle drive - yeah, few parts needed to be changed, but after the change still vibration and started massive tyre wear. I don't know, 1000 km = 1 mm wear? That was crazy. Went to dealer to 3D wheel alignment. They regulated front wheels a bit but everything was almost ok. And still - massive tyre wear and tyres started to loose grip. Milled asphalt - I couldn't hold the steering wheel > car was all over the road. Ant the noise - omg. Like driving with mud tyre. Tyre looked fine but this year I could drive 8000 km and result was (tyre had 8 mm when new, 6,5-7 mm when I put them to storage after 12000 km) and this when I threw them away 1,3 mm was left. So worst case = 6,5 mm to 1,3 mm in 8000 km = that is crazy. At this level, there was no point to send them to warranty - pointless waste of my time.
And rear tyres - inner sides worn to staircase damage. When you look at side - tread is like staircase (stairs).

Yes - when new - good grip, good feedback, good handling (8 out of 10). But crazy worn level. Tread worn to stairs. Lasted 20 000 km total and were worn to 1,3mm. And within these 20 000 km, maybe I got 5000 km without any vibration etc.
So the result - I WILL NEVER BUY THESE TYRES AGAIN. Maybe tyre width (195 to 225 maybe lasts), but 245 tyre width this brand is garbage.
Replaced them to another company brand. Went to car dealer 3D wheel alignment - everything was superb, no adjustments needed at all. And ride is smooth, without any vibration, no tyre worn at all and i have done already 3500 km with new ones.
So again, Goodride SA37 - worst tyre ever. Keep away from it.

Very good tires, good handling at higher speed în wet and dry roads.

After less tha 15.000 Kilometers the car sarted to "rumble". It turned out that a big bubble had appeared on the inside of 1 tyre. I was lucky it did not explode. Never ever buy these tyres, they are dangerous!!!

Just bought the tires after having trouble with three sets of Nokian Zline which started cracking just after one summer. I bought these Goodride after reading Autobild review where they got really good review.
I am usually skeptical regarding Asian tires, always went with premium tires but this time I was blown away.

I bought the tires for 52€/tire and I really cant find anything bad with them, they are good in every condition.
My car is tuned and a front wheel drived car which usually tends to swirl and slip during acceleration, but I don't really have a problem with these tires.

Bought a set of Nokian Zline and initial thought was that they were very good tires. There is really nothing bad about the handling. But the upper sidewall started to crack after one summer. Had them changed for another set and they also started to crack after a summer. I've gone through 3 set of Nokian Z-Line tires in three summers and every set started to crack. I'm not really confident driving the car 180-200 km/h in Germany with micro cracks on the sidewall.

Almost down to the indicators after 10k on an Audi A6 Allroad and not driven hard. About half motorway miles. Tramlines alarmingly on road markings and odd cambers.

Would not buy these again.
