Best Tyres for the BMW 523I

For it's price, this is probably the best tyre I've had, alongside the nexen su4.
Dry grip is good, wet grip is superb. I've never lost the slightest bit of grip even in intense rain with massive puddles.

Moderately noise and bumpy.

I'm not a spirited driver but feedback and sportiness feels acceptable.

10k miles in still massive amount of tread.

100% worth a try. These tyres are within 5% of performance from the last Michelin PS4 I've used

A very good blend of sport touring tyre. Switched from smaller diameter runflats, comfort is still marginally better. Tyre performs as described, perfect for everyday use. Holds on in corners very well at any speeds. Good in wet and colder (3-7 °C) temperatures too. No manufacturing quality issues. Can't comment on wear so far. Overall very satisfied with my purchase.

Great dry and wet grip.
Works perfectly well with Koni AS struts.

Hello, I used the tires on my old E39 BMW for trips to the office, about 12,000 km miles a year, mainly on the highway and in city traffic. I drive rather leisurely, but it's the same for us. We have mild winters and a lot of rain in the Rhineland. I can't therefore judge the handling on snow. I never felt unsafe in my car, the tires were completely unobtrusive, grip was present in every situation. They were also very quiet, I never heard a thing from the tires. The car drove perfectly in wet and cold conditions. Half a year ago I drove a screw into the tire, I only noticed it by the noise. The tire didn't lose any air and could be patched. Now the rear tires are relatively worn, I want to change them now. The TÜV did not find any fault with the tires, however. Considering the price-performance ratio and the superior driving characteristics, I will have the successor model fitted. I had a similar mileage with a Vredestein all-weather tire, which was also very good and recommendable. With a Goodyear Vector 4 Season, I had a sawtooth from front to back after changing the wheel, which is why I always change all 4 tires.

Likely due to it being a run flat, but terribly uncomfortable and loud, on standard suspension. Okay grip in dry, but bumps in the road completely ruin both the ride quality and your grip, latter especially in the wet. Only positive is the wear, as my set lasted about 50.000 km-s and still have thread depth, but the ride quality is so bad with these i will never equip run flats again.

Having switched from Continental Premium Contact 5, I could immediately feel a disconcerting vagueness in the steering and handling of the car. It instantly feels less connected to the road. Floaty and even that 'slippery' feel. It could well be due to that the specially-formulated compound that is to give Primacy 4 its low wear and rolling resistance properties. But it does not inspire as much confidence as the CPC tyres I have been using for the last 15 years or so. So much so I have made a mental note to exercise greater caution when driving in the torrential rain. However the Primacy 4 rewards abundantly in competently smoothing out the unevenness in the roads and offering a quiet cabin for a most comfortable drive.

Tyres went on at the start of lockdown in UK. So the car was little used. 5,500 miles, and 12 months later and the rears are completely bald! This was on fairly gentle driving on an older 525i touring. I’d always had Dunlop Sport Max on there previously and always averaged 15,000 miles. The Falken’s were recommended to last a little longer, but not so. I’d avoid these for a rear wheel drive car certainly.

#2# I fitted these tires to replace the previous very good Nokian G2. I noticed immediately also a good field in dry and wet conditions. I was impressed by these tires I had essentially chosen for the very low price. The only flaw I noticed is that they seem a bit too soft. High comfort level for low price.

Bought these tyres as replacement of the Pirelli Cinturato P7 with BMW * marked.
The P7* performed pretty well. I have the tyres on a BMW E61 5-series. Initially I put the tyres on the rear wheels. The car went all over the place. The tyres gave very poor longitudinal stability. On the front wheels they are reasonable. Although.... I had to exchange tyres under waranty 2x as the tyres were simply not round and very hard to balance. Strong points of the tyres is grip in dry conditions and they seem to last forever. 20.000 km (12400miles) and just 1 - 1.5mm wear.

Great tyre for the price I will be buying them again . I rotated mine every 6000 miles and they lasted longer than the way more expensive Dunlops I had on before hand they also handled very well in the dry and the wet highly recommended .
