After 5 seasons still functional, pondering if I use it in spring again.
This year I had issues with aquaplaning on two occasions - but that occured at fairly high speed - over 90 kph when slowing down.
I will probably buy the Primacy 5 as a next set

Fitment comes from each tyre's manufactured size list, and the sizes are the ones drivers reported when they reviewed. Check the size, load index and speed rating on your own doorplate before buying - a size a previous owner ran is not always the size your car left the factory on.
How long do tyres last on the Volkswagen (B8) 1.4 TSI (150 Hp) DSG ACT?
Across 13 end of life reviews from Volkswagen (B8) 1.4 TSI (150 Hp) DSG ACT drivers, a typical set of tyres was worn out after 20,000 miles. Half of all worn-out sets lasted between 10,000 miles and 35,000 miles.

What Volkswagen (B8) 1.4 TSI (150 Hp) DSG ACT drivers say
The most recent owner reviews from this car, in their own words.
Tires are amazing in dry weather, I got them on VW Arteon 2.0 TSI 280 4x4, and they never break traction, even when pushed. In the wet they are great too although I haven't pushed them in the rain. Tires are quiet but seem hard? Every vibration from the road is much more present in the cabin than it was with my previous set. Front tires are a bit worn after 10k miles but nothing terrible. Rears look almost brand new.
The tire can still build up surprisingly good grip in the cold, around 10 degrees Celsius, and it generally lasts a long time until you hear it, then it slips a bit but doesn't suddenly lose grip. Definitely on par with the Michelin PS4s, maybe even more drivable because it performs really well in cold and wet conditions.
My ID. Buzz has standard mounted EcoContact 6Q's on 20" rims. The tyres feel both comfy and quiet with low road noise on most surfaces along with very little harshness on rough surfaces. Unfortunately the positive things to say end here. The tyres are scarily bad at handling wet roads. At highway speeds the sudden micro-aqua/hydroplaning, even on very thin film of water, will certainly wake you up, if not the understeering at city speeds. In the dry the performance is at least acceptable but with very little steering feedback. Also the tyre corners poorly, feeling squirmy and unable to handle both the weight and power of the car. As I've only driven 2500km (1600miles) my final verdict will have to wait, but for now I'm not impressed.
Superb in all conditions. After 2000 miles tyres still look new. Just rotated front to back. Fronts at over 7mm years at 6mm. I run them at 38psi which works very well. Continental tyres are a premium product without question. I am a customer for life.
I was very satisfied with the tyres. After almost 40.000 miles, the fronts still had 3 mm and the rears 4,2 mm.
But high summer temperatures in excess of 35°C did affect the tyre compound and the rubber became a lot harder. It didn't affect dry grip, but in the damp and cold condition, they started to become worse.
OEM tyres for my car, I decided to replace them a little bit earlier than what I would have preferred (3.5mm at 26k km) because of bad performance (even for an OEM!).
This one doesn't give any feedback whatsoever. I didn't have any confidence with it, I had two understeers that took me by surprise (not dangerously fast, but surprised me nonetheless).
I could feel and hear every little rock on the road, yet it didn't let me know where the limit is at all, which I didn't even know was possible.
I had a narrow Continental 65 R16 on my older car which had same performance with better feedback that if course wasn't even close to sporty!
I've never owned a R18 wheel before, so I didn't have a reference, I thought my R16 was already on the limit of technology then. I was wrong, these just suck!
I got F1 Asy 6 (215/45 R18, a bit wider) and it is night and day. Should've done it sooner.
I read about Goodyear having some great tyres and other not so much, this is definitely one of the bad ones.
Compared to the Asy6, this one is noisier, uncomfortable, has poorer performance, and just about 25% cheaper (not adjusted to mileage, so maybe 35% cheaper?)
I've had Michelin tires before, which were very expensive, but the price-performance ratio can't compete with Falken.
