“I've been driving with the S Fit EQ+ for a while and to be honest for the price, I think it's a bargain! Not too sure about the longevity but changing from Yokohama ES32, I feel a significant improvement in my driving...”
Laufenn S Fit EQ+
Replaces the Laufenn S fit EQ
The Laufenn S Fit EQ Plus is an economy Ultra High Performance summer tyre with a strong value-for-money appeal and pleasing dry-road manners. Drivers often praise its grip, stability and premium-like feel in normal use, but professional tests highlight clear weaknesses in wet braking and aquaplaning resistance. It suits cost-conscious drivers who want confident dry handling, though wet-weather safety is not its strongest area.

2026 Auto Zeitung 18 Inch Summer Tyre Test P9 of 10
The Laufenn S Fit EQ+ LK01 is the budget offering from Hankook's sub-brand, and the results suggest it doesn't benefit enough from that connection. Its worst result is wet braking, where it records the longest stopping distance of all ten tyres - a significant safety concern. On the wet handling circuit it can't hold the intended line through faster corners, running wide and requiring the driver to back off. On the positive side, it does signal its grip limits progressively rather than breaking away without warning, so there is at least some predictability. On dry roads the tyre manages passable results, though braking distances are again on the long side and steering precision is mediocre. It ties for the lowest pass-by noise in the test, which is a genuine strength, but the ride is spoiled by a slightly uneven rolling quality that undermines what is otherwise a soft and comfortable basic character. Tread life prediction is below average and abrasion is high. The low purchase price is attractive, but the wet braking deficit is too large to overlook.

Laufenn S Fit EQ+ Owner Reviews
Review this tyreWhat owners say summarised from 10 reviews
Drivers report the Laufenn S Fit EQ Plus as an excellent value UHP-style tyre that feels close to premium brands for normal driving, with strong dry grip, confident handling, and generally good wet performance. Many also note good fuel economy/rolling resistance and respectable tread life for the price. A minority mention increased road noise and a firmer ride (especially in colder conditions), but overall sentiment is strongly positive and repeat-purchase intent is common.

I knew this brand as a cheaper option from hankook. Kinda same pattern as the hankook, with small changes. I have and had hankook tires, so I picked this to the daily, which is a MK1 fabia.
Trust me, if you have a daily car, its more than enough, if the daily car is not az M4 BMW.
The side walls are min 55, so this is not a sport tire. If you dont drive like that, its fine. It will stop the car anytime, just do not try to find its edge.

Also, in cold conditions below 10°C, the tyres become very hard and uncomfortable.
The rest of the performance is totally okay. I’m happy with the rolling resistance, as well as dry and wet handling and braking in all conditions.

These tyres have done 10000 miles so far and are down to 4mm of tread depth. When brand new they have 7.5mm of depth. What like about these is there is no difference between these and overpriced premium tyres. I paid £108 per tyre fitted. If you get a puncture on a quattro car your supposed to change 2 tyres on the same axle. You can with these for the price of 1 michelin tyre. I have had tyres from all top of the range companies and for normal everyday driving there is no difference at all except for the price. I do think that you are only paying for the name sometimes. These tyres will be good for 15000 miles and will definitely buy them again
