Uniroyal RainSport 3 shows a clear wet-weather bias with multiple top-tier wet braking results and occasional podium finishes in full tests, but it struggles for consistency, particularly in dry performance and dynamic handling. Early and mid-cycle tests (2014-2017) highlight strong to excellent wet capability and some high overall placings, while later tests (2019-2020) expose pronounced deficits in both dry and wet handling plus dry braking, dragging the average finish to mid-to-lower pack.
Overall, the tyre excels in straight-line wet stopping and is competitive in aquaplaning, value, and wear in certain sizes, yet persistent weaknesses in dry braking/handling and wet handling stability limit its all-round standing.
