Fitment comes from each tyre's manufactured size list, and the sizes are the ones drivers reported when they reviewed. Check the size, load index and speed rating on your own doorplate before buying - a size a previous owner ran is not always the size your car left the factory on.

How long do tyres last on the Toyota Hilux?

Across 13 end of life reviews from Toyota Hilux drivers, a typical set of tyres was worn out after 35,000 miles. Half of all worn-out sets lasted between 22,300 miles and 48,000 miles.

Distances are self-reported by drivers whose review marked the set as worn out; figures are medians, so a single unusual report cannot move them.

Very bad experience about these tires. In the dry, in normal condition and drive, with no pressure, you don't feel safe. In rainy conditions you just pray for life. For sure, I will not buy again.

Very happy with them, sometimes a little weak on traction. Good off road, but not for adventurous over ambitious driving , takes rough handling well and good on braking.
Good confidence on road and rugged to puncture resistance.

I have no idea who cleared this tire at Toyota to be mounted from factory on my 2026 Hilux Invincible but it is an abysmal tire. In South of France in the Pyrenees during summer (!) the understeer is absurd (even with different tire pressures) and rightout dangerous, not to mention wet handling... I think this tire was mounted to meet European emission standards because I would not even mount these tires on my worst enemies car. Maybe in America where roads are straight it might fair well, but on European twisty roads it is pure horror. I have nothing good to say about this tires. Went to a Falken Wilpeak A/T3WA AT tire that SHOULD be worse since it's an A/T but what.a.difference. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT buy this tire if you live in Europe, you will cry.

In the UK, being so wet I could never recommend this tyre. Forever wheelspinning and no confidence in wet roads

Does exactly what it says on the label. Replaced BF Goodrich KO2’s, simply because of the disastrous fuel economy.
Much more comfortable on road and just as good for traction on soil.
Tire wear is not going to be as good but fuel economy, more than makes up for that.
Huge improvement in wet grip on hard surfaces, KO2’s are so hard that they just slide.

I’ve been extremely impressed with these all-terrain tyres in every condition I’ve used them. On dry roads, the grip is excellent – the car feels planted and stable even at higher speeds and during confident cornering. Steering response is precise, and there’s no vague or floaty feeling that I sometimes associate with all-terrain tyres.

In wet conditions, the performance has been just as reassuring. Water dispersal is very effective, and I’ve experienced strong traction when accelerating, braking, and cornering in heavy rain. Compared to previous road-focused tyres I’ve used, these inspire at least the same level of confidence, if not more, especially when the road surface is less than perfect.

Off-road and on mixed terrain is where these tyres truly shine. Whether driving on gravel, dirt, grass, or muddy surfaces, traction remains consistent and predictable. The tyres handle transitions between surfaces smoothly, which makes them ideal for both daily driving and weekend adventures.

Comfort has exceeded my expectations. Despite the rugged tread, road noise is minimal, and the ride quality is smooth and well-damped. Long journeys are comfortable, with no noticeable increase in vibration or harshness compared to standard tyres I’ve used before.

Wear rate has also been excellent so far. After significant mileage, the tread shows very even wear, which suggests strong durability and good value over time. Overall, these all-terrain tyres deliver an outstanding balance of grip, comfort, and longevity, making them one of the best tyre choices I’ve had on my car

Used commercially for towing and off road work, they grip very well on road, relatively well off road (but they're not bfg at equivalent).. they do seem a little soft, they wear quickly and seem to puncture easily. More of a road tyre that can go off road well than an off road tyre. I do like the tyre, a good compromise

I put a set of these on a 2000 Toyota hilux and I can't find fault with them, they replaced bfg all terrains an awful tyre with very little wet grip, the toyos grip in the wet or dry is excellent and off road in mud the grip if far better than expected. When we fitted them the green circle was lined with the valve stem and out of 5 tyres none needed any balance weights fitting. I will definitely buy them again without hesitation, excellent quality.

Used on a Hilux with air lockers and heavy loads. Mine are the LT light truck construction. Constantly being aired down to suit rocky and muddy conditions. Recently completed a 15,000 km road trip around New Zealand S Island doing as many of the high country 4WD tracks as possible. As usual we got some snotty comments from the guys with big MTs but there was nowhere we couldn’t go. We completed some proper hardcore tracks needing low range first and second gear fully locked for long stretches to get up (and down). Tyres at ~15-20psi. Truck (which is heavy) handled the long distance tarmac drives no problem at relatively high pressures - 45 front, 60 rear. Long distance gravel roads down south I tend to air down to 30s. Extremely happy with the performance of this tire which is an all round excellent performer. It might not look particularly flash like a lot of these chunky off-road tires but it is very tough. The only time it struggles which is quite funny is in a flat muddy paddock full of cow pats. If the tires get clogged up with mud & poop they can be useless on flat wet grass. Which can be embarrassing…

4 K02's where fitted in September 2022 @ 10700km. I was told to expect 80-100k km life. I do drive many tar roads and do a bit of towing . I found them very noisy and rather a hard ride. Although they have been good in the wet, not so much in the dry .
But most disappointing, after the price tag, they need to be replaced now in January 2025 @ 149000km.
I appreciate that I may be a bit of an aggressive driver but, in my opinion, to only last 42000km is shocking !
