Were cheap but wore down fast. Not a problem on a car with low annual miles.
Or on rear of fwd car.
Seemed to Not crack as badly as other brands, ok maybe 5yrs when car was recycled.
I wish there were a list of brands of non crack -ing tyres!!! No point hard wearing if cracked and thrown away with full tread
Were not expensive.

I needed tires for my autoX competition car when I am not racing it. Primarily during winter months.
I purposely run a slight upsize to aid in ride comfort to help dull out the stiff suspension.
Price drove the decision. In all honesty I really like these tires for what they are. Surprisingly decent in the dry. Wet traction does suffer but as long as your mindful with your inputs its work able. I actually found myself driving around on these quite a bit this year chasing some tuning issues and I didnt want to cycle out the race tires.
Would absolutely consider again if I need another budget tire for a similar, non-primary driving situation.

My review is based on the RT615K+ variant.
Not many options in 14" sizing. Glad i went with the Falkens. Because of the high sidewalls their character will be a bit different from more normal sizing.
Really enjoyed having these on. Will likely get them again. Just a very friendly 200TW tyre. Decent dry grip but outshone by other 200TW. Took a little bit too get heat into on the street but easier than RS4 IMO. Wet grip surprisingly good in light to medium rain. Breakaway always very progressive and easy to manage. Lasted 12,000kms on my car with a lot of very heavy miles, one trackday, and bad alignment chewing out the insides.
Worked okay down to 5C, though harder to get fully warm at those Temps.
A good beginner semi-slick or a sporty daily for someone living in warmer climates. Better than RE003/Trackhawk Indy 500. Worse than RS4

I only have less then 100miles on these. So far much nicer then the 10yo Falken 912s they replaced. These are a slight oversize for my car to help cope with the race spec suspension on my car which is set up for competitive autocross. The tires might see 1000miles a year. So I did not need anything special. Just something for the offseason and inbetween races. The car is not driven much beyond racing it, if I do its to work on it or the occasional cars and coffee. I might do some race stints far away next season so these will be my travel tires to avoid anything happening to the Falken 660s I race on.
So far the ride is most excellent. Like disturbingly good. And the grip is actually decent given the design criteria. The few times I purposely pushed the car in the wrong places to see what they would do resulted in fine dry grip and manners. No rain or snow yet. Steering inputs are smooth and direct. I run the tires at 28psi front, 26 rear...car weights 2100lbs. Fwd turbo. I do not hoon much on the street the car is numbered and stickered up so generally pretty average other then some WOT pulls when I am working on ECU tunes.

Awesome tyres, replaced the Supercats i had on the car. Huge decrease in road noise and grip better in the wet than the supercats did in the dry. I tend to drive twisty costal roads and they are superb on the corners. Only downside is they feel skiterish on gravel roads and mud tracks.

Contradictory personality, tough sidewall , firm but must confess it made me up to take it to the border of the car's limitations!

I have fitted these to replace Michelin Energy E3A as well as Energy Saver+ (I had two sets of wheels).
K425s are very comfortable tyres. Their shock absorption is slightly better than both Michelins and vibration when driving has been reduced quite a bit. Rebound after passing the gap is managed really well, not like pogo stick and they settle quickly. Noise is very quiet compare to Michelins, too. I can hear them slightly however, they are similar to air noise when driving and not annoying at all. Even on rough tarmac surfaces, the noise level doesn't go up or change much, which is rather impressive. Comfort wise, I feel as if my car had a upgrade to more expensive saloon.
At low to mid speed range, initial turn in response is not as sharp as Michelins, or I could say mild, not like those more sporty tyres such as BS Potenza. However, once the car starts turning with adequate roll, K425s hold very well and are stable throughout the corner. Also it is easy to keep the line I aim at than Michelins. At motorway speed, K425 are easy to keep the straight line however, I feel Michelins are slightly better. On the high speed corner, K425s are excellent, similar to at lower speed as above, and I felt confident jumping into the bends.
In the wet, I haven't had much chance to push K425 but I didn't feel any uneasiness so far. As a trial, I intentionally drove only one side of tyres into large puddles on the road several times but there were no disturbance to the steering wheel, which is very different from Michelins.
Most impressive aspect of K425s is their low rolling resistance, in my case. In several occasions, when I am following the car in front with throttle off, I need to use brakes as my car keeps on going without losing the momentum than other cars in the traffic. It is evident when I am driving down hill, even if it is very slight, I could close the throttle and my car keeps on gliding. As expected, the mpg went up about 10%. This is partially because E3A has relatively high rolling resistance however, it is great news to me.
Overall, K425s are very comfortable tyres and I highly recommend considering the cheaper price than those top brand tyres - as the moment I don't feel any reason to pay more to by Michelin or Continentals. Its response when turning in is not as good as more sporty tyres however, for family car users these are safe and comfortable option.

I have bought a set of these tires 6 years ago, and they have been one of the best buys ever. I have driven them every winter for the past 6 years, I have driven about 60000 miles, and I do not have any complaints what so ever.
Road feedback was perfect, you can feel when the tire has had enough, wet grip was awesome, fresh-snow-grip was amazing.

I bought a set of 4 tyres back in April 2010. I have driven about 30000km a year, switching from summer to winter tyres (GoodYear UltraGrip 7 - I have left a feedback for them too) on time.
The first 3-4 years they were really good and I was actually surprised, road feedback was pretty good, noise was acceptable, dry grip was good and the wet grip was even better.
The last 2 years they were like driving on plastic tyres. Road feedback became terrible, a bit harder braking was impossible and I would start understeering immediately, driving by the speed limit almost became a challenge. The tyres were always stored in a garage.
I bought them because they were the cheapest tyres, I didn't have money to buy anything better because I had just bought a set of 4 winter tyres the previous month.
I would recommend these tyres only if you are about to sell the car and want to brag about having just bought a set of "new" tyres. You can drive them for about 3 years and the 4th year start looking for a new set of tyres.

Absolutely brilliant. Very good price, amazing grip wet and dry. Fitted to an old Audi which is very front heavy and is prone to understeer, never had any understeer or lack of grip since fitting and the car gets driven hard.
