Audi A3 quattro Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Michelin Pilot Sport 5 given 71% (225-40-18-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 2500 average miles
I had Michelin Pilot Sport 4 before, and these Sport 5 seem like a step backwards, and I didn't like the Ps4 very much. The Ps5 are comfortable, they grip well, both dry and wet, but they seem to me more for sedans focused on doing miles on the highway and good roads. It is not a tire that gives the feeling at the wheel at the reaction level of being a sports tire, neither are the Ps4, but on winding roads it gives me other sensations. I have always carried GOODYEAR in my car, always. I mounted Ps4 because a friend convinced me. I live in a place where it rains a lot and Goodyear has never given me a scare and the Ps4 has. I put the Ps5 thinking they would improve, but no. You will wonder why I did not mount Asymmetric 6. It will seem stupid, but since I had not seen them live, there was no review and in the press photos the sidewall looked very ugly. After seeing reviews I will try the Asymmetric 6 next.

Driving on a combination of roads for 40000 spirited miles
I bought these tyres by coinsidence 5 years ago.
I drove them a lot and drove them very hard on my audi quattro 180hp.
Never failed me neither with grip nor with braking.Drove them over 10 times on track- no problem :D
for five years and approximately 50 000 kms, the tyres could last another year /this one/, but they were cut by some idiots. Just the previour year and this one as much as i drove them, they started to make a slight slipping when its wet and chilly. but nothing to be afraid of.
Anyway, would have bought the same but I couldnt find ones for sale at my country. Replacing them with Nokian Zline, as just Line is not offered on stock here.

Driving on mostly town for 20000 spirited miles
Came as new set of 4 with the car Audi A3 quattro. Done 20k miles and have changed the front 2 due to damage. Put Goodyear efficient grips on which are noticeably quieter and have much better wet grip. Having said that the rear ones still have loads of tread left, but I feel like I'd like them to weAr out so I could get some quieter tyres on.
