they're great in every way, except the 3PMSF part, their deeper snow grip is fine, however, they struggle when there's a light cover of snow, and they're completely useless and plain dangerous when on ice, my GT Radial Champiro Touring AS are better, and those are basic M+S.

Writing about the Falken Wildpeak AT4W

I have the AT4Ws mounted up to my 2015 Nissan Frontier King Cab Pro4X 6spd and they are my first new set of tires on this truck. These tires have been on the truck for 16,000 km now and have been rotated twice, with the rears crossed forwards and the fronts moved straight back. When new, these had 14/32nds of an inch of tread, and they currently have 13/32nds across the entire tread. I drive very gently with no hard acceleration, braking, or turning so these tires were never subject to high forces which may explain the minimal wear. The AT4Ws give me unlimited confidence in the dry, leave me unfazed in the wet, and unconcerned in the snow. I have occasionally taken my truck into the dirt and mud on light trails and never faced difficulty. However, when comparing it to the Hakka R3s I have on my SUV, the snow braking can definitely be improved hence the 7 rating.

General overview:
Good for on road driving, logging road mains/light off-roading & construction sites. Good fuel economy & comfort/ handling. Wore not to my liking most likely due to more intense off road driving.
New on road:
Very good in dry conditions.
Quite good in snow and wet.
Handling is solid and ride is decently comfortable as it is an SL not an E rated tire.
Pretty good fuel economy, it is 41lbs so not heavy.
Worn in on road:
Very good in dry conditions.
Still quite good in snow, and wet grip, but wet braking performance has diminished more than I would like.
Handling still feels very good.
Fuel economy still good.
Tires wore poorly most likely due to my more intense off roading. Tread lugs starting to chip and round but are still very durable, no punctures.
Offroad overview:
They do preform very well off road in loose steep climbs and fresh packed snow climbs when airing down. I am quite surprised as the tread pattern does not look very aggressive.
Very durable even being an SL rated tire. Never had a puncture even while going off road with sharper rocks with airing down a little.
Overall quite happy with them and would buy again if I did not do as intense of off roading as I do now. But they are not the tires for me anymore.

I used these on a Dodge 1500 4x4 3 door cab. They were excellent, and were much better than some of the other top name brands I had purchased in the past. I will not hesitate to purchase them again, if the occasion arrives.

Writing about the Nokian Outpost nAT

Oldtimer here, with 40 years of driving many different types of tires. These Nokian's were an excellent tire. Quiet on road, really handle gravel, washboard, crossings, and potholes well. No issues, no flats and the treadlife is impressive. Living in Canada, we see our share of snow and ice and these did very well crossing through the mountains and during our harsh winters. LT on Tacoma, now have the nAT in P275/60r20 on Tundra. Excellent tire.

Running these under the requirement of an "all-season-off-road" tire. Because we live in a winter climate and drive on snow 5 months of the year (almost daily) in our area Snow/winter driving performance was a primary requirement. That alone meant the BFG wasn't going to be a top choice (mostly packed snow or under 2 feet of snow). Off road performance is more than adequate and feedback allows me to understand where the grip is when in low traction dry conditions as well as winter conditions.

Initially these work great but the rubber hardens up over time and any type of cold or wet weather turns them into hockey pucks.

Writing about the Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S

I bought these tires in December 2019 for my 03 GMC Sierra and thought that they did a great job. I have never had any trouble with the grip on wet or dry ground. I have also taken them on gravel roads, offroad through woods and pastures. I have never gotten stuck or had a problem with them anywhere. I was actually going to get a new pair of these tires because I liked them so much but Cooper has come out with the Discoverer Road and Trail AT tire that is supposed to be the updated version of this tire so I am purchasing that one instead. The tires lasted for just over 60,000 miles and I probably could have gotten a few thousand more miles out of them if I had rotated them a little more frequently.
Overall I am very happy with this tire and would have purchased again.

One of the worst tyres I've ever bought. They were 95,% finished before my next service of 20000Km. May be they are good in other countries but not in South Africa. Very, very bad tyres. Worse than any cheaper tyre on offer. I was initially told they will last for four to six years. By mere looking it was convincing. Dealers won't even take responsibility. Don't even believe the guarantee story , is a hoax it doesn't apply in real situation. Only a marketing strategy with a lot of nonsensical things attached to it. Federal couragia is not a tyre at all.

I live in Northern Canada and have to drive 200km (one way) to my mining job: I purchased these tires for my Tacoma once I took the job and knew I was going to constantly be "road tripping" in the winter. I went from constantly needing to use 4x4 on hills and offroad (running BFG KO2) to scampering around in 2wd with minimal drama (running the studded Sailun WST1). Definitely a very solid performing tire when the conditions get sketchy!
