265/50 R20 Tyre Review Highlights
Writing about the Continental CrossContact HT
rated 65%
Just installed these tires. After installation, I noticed a significant imbalance above 110 km/h. I went to a service center, and they rebalanced them more carefully - the vibrations decreased but didn’t disappear completely. They are still noticeable.
The tires feel stiff compared to my winter Michelin and are also noisier. They transmit road imperfections more.
Based on my experience, I would classify these tires as economy class rather than premium, despite how the manufacturer positions them.

Writing about the Vredestein Hitrac All Season
rated 91%
My experience so far (5k miles) with the Vredestein HiTrac All Season tires is great. These tires are 100% better than the original Falken tires that came on the new vehicle. The vehicle handles much better in every aspect. Handling on wet roads, dry roads, stopping and cornering are much better with the Vredestein tires. Comfort and noise levels are fine. Comfort is very good, but noise levels are just good in my observation. My vehicle and its sound insulation or lack of may be the reason for more road noise. Very pleased with my purchase.

These tires were on the vehicle when we bought it and were fairly new. We are dedicated Michelin and/or Nokian users for 20 years. I find these tires to be rough riding in comparison. They make me very uncomfortable driving on ice as the vehicle seems to be swaying and on the verge of losing control. For that reason alone I would not consider buying again.

Writing about the Hankook Ventus ST

I drove this tire on a Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit WK2 3.0 Diesel. The tire was very good in dry conditions and okay in the wet. When driving through more water, like puddles, you could feel some resistance. Otherwise, it performed well. It was also satisfactory in light off-road conditions. The wear was pleasantly low as well. I would buy it again.

Best UHP summer tire. No other SUV tire comes close in terms of high speed performance. Braking, cornering, stability and road feedback. Only weakness is wear, they seem to wear pretty fast.

Tires were good; replacement tires on a pre-owned Jeep Grand Cherokee. Very pleased with tire performance on all surfaces except snow

Quiet and comfort at slow speed, but vibrates like hell when cruising at 60 mph. Ride feels plush and quiet on my Lexus RX350. For this price, I can't complain.

I drive a 2014 Jeep grand Cherokee diesel that has been graphed to produce 700 nm torque for towing. I’m o second set of these tires and find them fabulous. They always wear evenly but I rotate front to rear a couple of times over their lifetime. I always run nitrogen this keeps towing temperatures very stable it’s a must as I’m an aircraft engineer and understand this. Will I use again ? A big yes they are the best tires I have ever had on my vehicles. Side note not prone to puncturing as well

Bought these tyres May 2021 for my Jeep Grand Cherokee did 38,000 km on on them, it’s now Dec 2023. Really quite tyre, ideal for those long hwy trips, grip, towing and handling were fine, no complaints, dirt gravel roads they were predictable in corners. I would have bought again if I could have got them. Great value for the money. I am interested to see if the Maxis HPM3’s will be as quiet.

Our new 2023 Dodge Durango R/T AWD came equipped with the Pirellis and I am very impressed. Contrary to what a jeep owner wrote, I feel like the ride they provide is magnificent. We had a 2016 Durango which came with P265/50R20 Goodyears, I think it was - when they wore out I bought Falken Pro G5 from Discount Tire and was pretty happy with them for the price. That is my frame of reference, but I have to say that the 2023 Durango with the Pirellis rides and handles like a dream compared to the 2016. It was good, the new was is superb. I cannot say how much of that difference is the year model and technical improvements and how much is the tire, but so far we love the new car and the tires. We had testdriven an Escalade and I swear the Durango rides just as well and the hemi blows the Escalade out of the water. I cannot see any reason at this point anyhow why I would change tire brands when it comes time for new tires.

Worst tyres ever, they didn’t last for more than 25,000Km even with regular rotation and balance!!!

I've been running this tire (265/50r20) for a month (Philippines), dry and wet are great, comfortable and quite. Cant give comment on wear yet.
I got the tires as package on my new wheels, for the price of the tires its working great hopefully will last. Will possibly buy again.
