255/40 21 Tyre Review Highlights
Previously on my Q5s, I've used Michelin Latitude Sport then PS4 SUV tyres and they were pretty good all round. These tyres came stock with my car though the one of the fronts was punctured (sometime in the midpoint between new and now) and I switched the fronts (235/45R21) to PS4 SUVs, which is always my benchmark tyre, having used it on 3 occasions. By now, the originals are worn down to less than 2mm from the indicator while the PS4 SUVs still look rather fresh so it's hard to tell how different the wear is, but it feels like it'll wear faster.
As a comparison with the benchmark, these tyres are better for steering feel (like typical Bridgestones I've used) but are still slightly inferior in other respects, with comfort being the biggest difference on 21". For an OEM EV tyre, it is about 10% more efficient than my benchmark tyre (energy consumption 6.4km/kWh vs 5.9km/kWh over a long period). It's a good tyre but not a complete one. If I had no choice, I'd go with it again, but there's always the benchmark tyre as well as the new Pirelli Zero E to consider.

I saved £800 by having these Pace Alventi tyres fitted to my Kia EV6 GT 3 months ago and instantly noticed a difference. The Michelin PS4 EV tyres would skip on full lock and feel awful, would understeer pulling into junctions and spin up and lurch the car all over the road on traffic light drag races. I've only driven in wet winter conditions on these so can't comment on dry conditions. So far I am very impressed with Pace, even putting down 575 hp they feel great with minimal tyre slip and so far grip far better then the Michelins did. The only negative I've got is they have slightly more road noise, and that is only because they are not EV rated. They have the same speed and load ratings, better range and wet grip ratings just no foam inside to absorb the road noise. Lets see what they are like on dry summer days, but for winter I'll definitely buy again.

I put these S2 on a Volvo xc60 to replace the original pzero
Have only driven about 7.000km on them. Primarily at hugh speed highway
The tyres are very comfortable, extremely quiet (even withiut the foam inside like the Pirelli)and very precise on dry roads. Consumption seems better than on the original pirelli.
On wet roads it feels well balanced and secure. Only issue on cornering on wet and slippery roads the Tyres lacks some grips and the vehicle understeers. But probably others would too.
Price they are OK, but thinking of trying the new Kumho next time. They seem great value for money

First impression after 3 days of use in daily traffic.
Very good tyres, previous winter tyres I was using were Goodyear Ultra Grip Performace + and I was very pleased with them, but Pirelli Scorpion Winter 2 feels better, I would say noticeably better. Dry, wet, snow grip is very good (did some extra acceleration and breaking - no complains), got some short/light slip on black ice, but only while driving more sporty. Handling feels great.
I am pleasantly surprised because I am not a fanboy of Pirelli, some 10+ years ago was disappointed in their summer tyres and decided to not buy them. But new car came with factory mounted Pirelli summer tyres and they was ok, so decided to give a try for winter tyres too.

Great tyres for ride comfort and handling, but you pay for by reduced wear unfortunately. Be prepared to buy them annually if your an average driver.

I have full confidence in its braking ablility, Im a late braker and it saved me from more than a few bumper collision. Aquaplaning is good. Wet handling - unsure, as I have not driven fast in the wet. Good grip all around, rotated twice and am on 36000km with still decent tread left. Tire’s sidewall had a chunk of rubber gorged out due to a kerb exposing the innards. Is it too soft?? Overall very good.

Extremely dissatisfied with the quality of this product. Only had the tyres 3years. Having to change as tread has worn away, only driven 6500 miles in the last 2 years as the car was parked whilst working from home during covid. Do not recommend this product for Audi Q5 drivers.

I have a staggered setup with 255/40R21 in the front and 275/40R21 on the rears
I love these tires. They are quite grippy and I find them good not excellent but good in the wet. Yes there are better rain tires but the are not as good in the dry. It's always a compromise. In the winter I'm driving on CrossClimate 2 SUV in 275/40R20 all around and they are better in the rain but much worse in the dry...all about the season and the compromises.

Can be noisy on expressway surfaces although Very comfortable. Steering can change from understeer to oversteer due to soft sidewalls P zero's steer better and are quieter although much higher treadwear

If you can afford to replace them every year ,well yes, it is an excellent tyre. Ok the Volvo is heavy and strong but you just expect more from premium tyres that cost an arm and a leg, especially when not pushing them to the limit and adopting a easy going drive style.
Bought a full set of Kumho Crugen HP91's about 12 months ago as replacements for the factory fitted Pirelli P-Zero's on my 2015 Audi SQ5. The Pirelli's were a good performer, but are stupidly expensive to replace and due to the relatively low treadwear rating they wear out very quickly (around 12,000miles / 20,000km's) and wore on the edges predominantly.
Knowing I wanted to move away from the expensive Pirelli's, I found the Kumho's which rated well on multiple websites I looked at (including Tyresales.uk) for overall quality, grip and quietness, were much more reasonably priced, had a higher treadwear rating of 420 (vs 300 on the Pirelli's) so they should last longer when driven in the same manner, and had a more square shape which should help the tyre wear evenly (instead of on the edges like the rounded off Pirelli's).
Overall very happy with the Kumho's, they have been on the car now for around 12 months and about 6-7k miles (10,000kms). The tyres are quiet to drive on, grip well in both wet and dry conditions, are wearing evenly and slowly, and look better on the rim compared to the Pirelli's. Steering feel/feedback was also noticeably better with the Kumho's, but hard to compare that aspect on brand new tyres to the worn out Pirelli's they replaced.
