Motosiklet Yaz Premium Tur Tyres Tyre Review Highlights
Purchased to replace an old set of Dunlop Roadsmart tyres on a VFR800 V Tec. Used mainly for a daily commute and a mix of roads including motorway. I went for the O rated tyre on the rear for extra life as the bike is quite heavy. In short, I can't fault them. I've used them in all weathers including zero degree temperatures. They are quick to warm up and give all the grip, comfort and feedback you will ever need. I will definitely be buying the same again.

The Angel STs have been great with one very important exception.
Handling is great on my 2017 Kawasaki Versys 1000 LT. Wet or dry. They never gave me a "pucker" moment all the way to end of life. So why won't I buy them again?
They wear out suddenly... Let me explain.
I left for a weekend trip with the rear tire looking fine. It was about 1/16" (2-3 mm) to the wear bars. At my first stop (about 180 miles) I checked and it was AT the wear bars. After another tank of gas, It was showing cord. I wasn't pussy footing around, but I wasn't abusing my tires either.
The front went 6,000 miles before doing basically the same thing. I will never but these tires again unless it's an emergency.
I replaced them with Angel GTs. So far they have all the good characteristics of the STs, and seem to be holding up better. I'm keeping my eye on them though...

Absolutely confidence instilling tyres in almost all conditions, only haven't tried them in snowy weather. Dry grip is comfortable and also enabled me to test the limits of my bike like I have not before. The majority of my riding happens with a pillion and both of us felt the comfort as we switched to these.

With my previous tyres, the wet grip was poor enough that I was being unnecessarily cautious to a point where they were taking my focus away from traffic. Now, the opposite is possible.

I try to use as less brake as possible with my riding style and the wear so far seems good, I am hoping to reach 15000km at least.

Unless Metzeler makes an even better tyre, I don't see myself buying a different brand or model. These honestly feel like the absolute best there is for all-year riding.

Dunlop Roadsmart IV GT
— rated 91%
while driving a BMW BMW K1600GTL · Driving on a combination of roads
for 2200 spirited miles
Had the V fitted for a number of years and found them to be a fantastic tyre all round. Front tyre did not last as long as the rear due to the weight of the bike and the K1600gtl being very front heavy. I now have the Road Smart IV and so far so good. I did a 2200 mile trip around Ireland this year 2025 with a every kind of road and conditions, both twist and motorway and lets say not so slow most of the time. Spent most of the time one up though full laden. The grip was never lacking and I felt confident in tone and on the open road, twisty or strait.
I would highly recommend the Road Smart 4

On dry weather it's alright. On wet weather is shit. About 7000km in the rear slips alot even when im going slow thru corner about 40km/h - 50km/h. Tyre lasted about 9500km before it needs to be changed. Ride feels harder then other tires. Felt every small bumps and going thru humps can be quite harsh.

Disaster waiting to happen. I simply do not understand how people find them safe. My rear is literally slipping in every single corner in fast twisties when I ride with more guts than I have. I think Conti Road Attack is 10x better and safer. Michelins are also a no for me. (Bmw r1100rt).

Got them oem on my hornet 750, been using them for 2 year all 4 seasons and 27500kms and theyre now in their last leg

Been using 32/36 psi

Without tcs i can redline up to 3rd gear on my city roads which tarmac is terrible. When im on good tarmac tcs light comes on rarely.
Excellent on the wet never scared me.
Cornering wise it doesnt scare probably can drag a knee but you don't get much feedback but its stable.

If you're doing long rides definetly get them as life is excellent and cornering is maybe %85-90 good as lets say a power 5-6 or rosso 4s

It grips very well on wet conditions, you feel every crease on road for me that's a downside comfort is a little low

I'm not sure if this tyre is great or not. sometimes it totally crashes my self confidence on curvy roads but sometimes it feels glued to the road.

Avon Spirit ST
— rated 24%
while driving a BMW K1600gt · Driving on a combination of roads
for 100 average miles
Supplied with a front tyre which shook and vibrated by BMW K1600gt at speeds over 60mph. Went through the warranty process and Avon (Goodyear) rejected my claim and could find nothing wrong with it. Initially fitted and balanced by a reputable dealer and the refitted and rebalanced by a second garage with the same dangerous results. Clearly not suitable for a BMW K1600gt despite their claims. Avoid at all costs.

Been plagued by punctures. They are so soft that a small staple used for paper punctured the tyre. The rear tyre has been punctured 7 times now and all by very thin bendable wire, less that 2mm thick. Will be going for a stronger option now.
