  2. Fulda EcoControl HP2 61.9
  3. Fulda Kristall Control HP2 21.1

Fulda EU label data

13 of the 22 tyres on record carry EU label data. These are the range's label headliners, using each tyre's best available size figures.

A Best wet grip

1 tyres reach EU wet grip class A. The highest scoring:

B Lowest rolling resistance

The most fuel efficient choice: 6 tyres reach rolling resistance class B. The highest scoring:

69dB Quietest tyres

The quietest tyres in the range are labelled from 69 dB external noise:

Label values come from the EU EPREL database and vary by size - the figures here are each tyre's best declared size. Wet grip and rolling resistance run from class A (best) to E; noise is the measured drive-by figure. A good label is a floor, not a verdict: the tests and rankings above tell you far more.

The tyres were just ok. Did everything pretty well but wore out after 12000 miles which is low in my opinion

Made in France in 2018, the remaining tread is about 6-5.5 mm. in 9 years, it became, of course, more rigid and less sticky and less comfortable. Unidentified pieces began to fall off. There are no micro-cracks. Without obvious failures, but without "light", generally comfortable for every day.

Overall, a recommendable tire with a good price/performance ratio. A small downside is the noise level. In wet conditions, the tires "sing" a bit louder than on dry roads. The wear is very low. However, I also drive very cautiously.

Got these tyres on a used car mostly for driving around town, they were 5 years old with no visible wear. On dry roads it had okayish grip .Absolutely horrible in wet, on anything but asphalt road, you can expect ABS triggering when braking little bit harder or understeer when turning into a harder corner. Had them on the car for the few months in late summer, early autumn. Got rid of them happily in favour of winter tyres (Hankook winter i*cept RS2) which felt much better. Maybe on a heavier car wet grip could be little bit better, but it would probably still be quite bad.

Overall good, but really nothing stands out about this tyre. Reasonable wear, very good in dry, confident in wet, average in snow.
Reasonably quiet and comfortable.
Great buy at around EUR 83 for 205 60 16.

I've driven these tyres for seven full summer seasons and a bit over 30.000 miles.

Positives: 1. Cheap to buy (back in 2018) - 160 euros for all four tyres, 2. They do last in terms of tread depth...still over 6 mm after all those miles, 3. They were easy going - meaning rolling resistance was low, 4. When new (first two or three seasons) excellent in wet breaking, very hard to activate ABS, 5. No special issues whatsoever....just bring the miles on.

Neither positive nor negative: 1. I've used Goodyear GT3 tyres before on the same vehicle and Fuldas were slightly noisier, but nothing that would be an issue. 2. Comfort wise they were OK, but nothing special.

Negatives: 1. On dry and cold surface braking was the issue even with the new tyres. It remained the same until the end. You just had to be careful. 2. Only after 10.000 kms they felt nicely secure in the rain...there were no issues before that, just the feeling in the steering and complete car was not the best in terms of being secure and confident. 3. After fifth season front tires developed a dry rot on the inner side walls which is hard to notice unless you switch your tires/wheels yourself.

Would I buy Fulda again? Yes and no. I was and still am happy with performance to price ratio, however they are not the best tyres ever. Despite some flows I'm not disappointed. So it is up to the specific situation - do you need better tyres or have money for them. Fuldas seem to be a decent choice for the money they cost.
