Tables are ranked by TR Score, which rates each tyre out of 10 using independent test results and owner reviews weighted by how much evidence backs them. Unscored tyres link to their pages, where a review counts towards a score.
The best Cooper for each condition
One brand, different jobs: the Cooper that lead in each condition, from the per-condition TR scores.
Best in the dry
Rated across 5 tyres in the range:
Best in the wet
Rated across 5 tyres in the range:
Condition scores run 0-100 within each condition, built from the same test results and owner reviews as the overall TR Score.
Cooper EU label data
17 of the 72 tyres on record carry EU label data. These are the range's label headliners, using each tyre's best available size figures.
A Best wet grip
5 tyres reach EU wet grip class A. The highest scoring:
- Cooper All Season 8.5
- Cooper Zeon CS8 7.2
- Cooper Zeon 4XS Sport 7.2
A Lowest rolling resistance
The most fuel efficient choice: 2 tyres reach rolling resistance class A. The highest scoring:
67dB Quietest tyres
The quietest tyres in the range are labelled from 67 dB external noise:
Label values come from the EU EPREL database and vary by size - the figures here are each tyre's best declared size. Wet grip and rolling resistance run from class A (best) to E; noise is the measured drive-by figure. A good label is a floor, not a verdict: the tests and rankings above tell you far more.
New Cooper tyres
The newest arrival in the range is the Cooper Winter Van. 4 tyres have joined in the last two years:
| Tyre | Season | On the market since | TR Score |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cooper Winter Van | Winter | 2026 | not yet scored |
| Cooper Winter | Winter | 2025 | not yet scored |
| Cooper All Season | All Season | 2025 | 8.5 |
| Cooper Summer | Summer | 2025 | 7 |
New tyres take time to earn a TR Score - tests have to be run and owner reviews have to arrive. A missing score is a data gap, not a verdict.

The most recent reviews, in their own words
Value for money, the tire came from a continental primum with a 7 which stuck to the road, but it was noisy and quite a bit more expensive than the Cooper. Its disadvantages are that it doesn't brake well in the dry and doesn't have such good feedback on the road. The law is a quiet, comfortable tire that can handle many demands and will not let you down.
I had previous Continental Premium 7 the difference has mainly to do with noise I consider the cooper They are quieter and have worse grip than the Continental Premium 7 It's not that fast in the corner. However, it's a decent tire for everyday use without having many demands. 290€ for a set of four I consider a decent price.
These are phenomenal on our AWD explorer. Would highly recommend.
Not an offroad tyre, STILL manages to take me quite far on our logging routes and forest paths. I am working as a lumberjack and I was looking for a follow up tyre after my bfg a/t ko2 with better wet road handling.
I have effectively exchanged solid offroad performance for much less scary on road performance, especially in wet weather.
It looses off road in deep mud or in deep sand. But in other offroad conditions it managed similar performance to my KO2
On road is far superior to KO2, especially in wet, cold or icy conditions.
Noise level superior to KO2
tread wear adequate.
Not a single puncture or defect so far. Working with heavy trailers as well.
Would highly recommend to all people using KO2. This KO2 tyre scares me shirtless in rain on asphalt.
I already bought second set for my wife's car.
this model is discontinued by Cooper. Had to buy new one on e-bay.
