“I drive this tire on an Alpina D3 F31 Bi-turbo Touring Allrad. This tire is okay in dry conditions and good in the wet. It’s the best I know when it comes to lateral grip on snow. With no other tire have I been able to...”
Goodyear UltraGrip Performance+
Replaces the Goodyear UltraGrip Performance Gen 1
The Goodyear UltraGrip Performance Plus is a premium ultra high performance winter tyre that delivers a highly confident, well-rounded winter drive. It stands out most in snow and wet conditions, combining strong traction and reassuring handling with very good aquaplaning resistance. For many drivers it's also comfortably refined for the class and wears well, though it's not the sharpest option on dry roads.

The GOODYEAR UltraGrip Performance+ tyre offers good steering feedback and safety reserves on dry roads, with an average braking distance earning it a good rating. On wet roads, it performs well in aquaplaning and handling, securing a good overall rating despite narrowly missing a good mark in braking distance. In winter conditions, it shows above-average performance in braking and traction, and excels in snow handling and ice braking. Environmentally, the tyre is rated well for its very good predicted mileage, good wear, and low fuel consumption, despite its above-average weight. Overall, it achieves a good environmental rating.

Hello; I bought the Goodyear Ultragrip Performance Plus winter tires I was using in my Seat Ibiza CUPRA vehicle on January 23, 2023 and assembled it at 77420 kilometers, and I used it without removing it in the summer and winter months, my vehicle is 101250 as of now. It came to the kilometer, the physical condition of the tires is 65% and the handling and brake performance in all conditions are very high, it has traveled 23830.kilometers during about four years of use and in this process, the tires are 35% old, I drive an average of seven thousand kilometers per year and I am very satisfied with Goodyear ultragrip performance plus tires real rubber tires and top quality

So snow grip is great, wet grip very very good (i never had any kind of sliding), dry grip is good for winter tyre. Feedback i will not comment for this type of vehicle.
They did slip on ice but as all studless tyres do, but they pulled me where i wanted to go even on very steep icy slopes (and i mean such slopes uou wouldnt think it would be able to go over)!
Wear was negligible (weight of car is 2.3t and i did not try to save them at all). For 3 years wear was about 1.5mm. Car had regular wheel alignment which is a big factor. What i like about this tyres is that starting debth is around 9mm and lamelas go all the way to the base of rubber blocks. That is not the same for competition espetialy continetal ! Lamelas need to be deep so after a good deal od wear they stil grip snow! Continental winter tyres have about 1÷2mm of full width lamelas and then they start to disapear...
It woul be nice if Johnathan woul do winter tyre comparison on snow grip of tyres that had some wear (on 5-6 mm debth).

Great grip in the wet, reduces likelihood of aqua planing and disperses puddles much better than my summer tyres (currently Bridgestone Potenza non run flat 255/30/19). Swapped to winter alloys in November. Tyres are comfy and pretty quiet compared to the Bridestone rubber... will be looking at Michelin Pilot 4S for next Summer I think. Overall very happy, despite not having much snow and ice this winter I have more confidence on cold mornings. I can definitely notice the difference that changing the wheels has made. Traction is much better when temp is 5•C and below, the summer tyres were just spinning up at light acceleration. I’m happy to recommend these tyres, FYI please check out the TYRE-REVIEWS channel on YouTube, really interesting comparisons and highlights the pros/cons of tyres... hope y’all found this informative
