Hello; I bought the Goodyear Ultragrip Performance Plus winter tires I was using in my Seat Ibiza CUPRA vehicle on January 23, 2023 and assembled it at 77420 kilometers, and I used it without removing it in the summer and winter months, my vehicle is 101250 as of now. It came to the kilometer, the physical condition of the tires is 65% and the handling and brake performance in all conditions are very high, it has traveled 23830.kilometers during about four years of use and in this process, the tires are 35% old, I drive an average of seven thousand kilometers per year and I am very satisfied with Goodyear ultragrip performance plus tires real rubber tires and top quality

I never reached the end of these tyres life. Mostly on the front then about 5k on back they were down to 4.5 mm at 20K miles - Exchanged the car after that
I never go below 3mm anyway and only do about 6k miles so hard wearing is a waste for me

I changed these tyres before the next winter season. In summer conditions, the wet grip is limited, in winter all the possible weather conditions (cold, wet, slush, snow, ice) makes the tyre unsafe to use.

I suffered through 2 winters with this set, I dont want to risk another one.

I have had some other brands on this car, Firestone, Hankook, Vredestein, but I have to say, these Matadors are way better.

They have good balance between comfort and performance. Good levels of grip on dry and wet roads, but smoothen the ride well on rough or damaged tarmac. The noise level is ok.

The tyres are soft (both sidewalls and tread), shows some delay in steering in the corner entries, but it's not a big deal. Not a sporty tyre, tuned for comfort ride, they have the feeling I'm driving a Michelin subbrand, however It's a brand of Continental.

I got more what I expected for the price, I'm waiting how they will perform on long term.

After 62000 my ContiSportContact 5 got very harsh and noisy.

Wanted more confortable and silent sporty tyres.

Was between the Pilot Sport 5 and the Ventus Evo.
Price and the 2026 Summertyre review did the rest!

Tried on highway, mountain roads.and city driving.

They are very nice, silent, progressive, and more confortable than the CSC5 as new! Very nice indeed as my car has a hard suspension and very low tyres.

Hoping for good grip in the wet too...

A very good stock Sport tyre, they lasted way beyond expected (62000km/7 years), rotated at 30000km (usually at 20000Km but forgot).
The rears are perfect worn, the fronts have some dry rot in last months.

I've been driving smoothly, only push them ocasionally on curvy, mountain and B roads.

Very good handling in perfect roads, dry or wet, never failed, but too harsh besides that and scary on potholes, but it is a 40 profile and the car suspension is too hard too... I can feel everything on the road, anything, these tyres seem like a block.

A little noisy and too pointy for me, could be more predictable and progressive at the edge and smoother to my liking.

Hope the next ones will be Hankook Ventus Evo or Michelin Pilot Sport 5 (too expensive).

We use it on our secondary car. It's usable generally, but the performance like a noisy summer tyre. In snowy conditions the performance acceptable, but not good. With lower speed it can handle some snow on the roads. On ice, it's like a summer tyre, definetly no grip. Previously I used a Nexen all seasons tyre on this car, that was way better tyre.

Fitted in October 2021 and they’ve done just over 59,000 miles on the rear of my Seat Ibiza, mainly motorway driving. They’ve worn well and are still at 4.5mm tread, with no vibration or other issues. They’ve always felt stable and predictable in everyday use. Not the quietest tyres I’ve had, but the noise is perfectly acceptable. Overall, I’m really pleased with how long they’ve lasted and would happily buy them again.
