Audi A6 Allroad 3.0 TDI Tyre Review Highlights
Perfect tires for all seasons. On dry and wet they are absolutely brilliant. On snow and ice, you have to be careful, they are not typical winter tires. For an area where there is little snow in winter, this is the best solution if you don't want to buy two sets of tires.

These tyres were nice, fun and safe to drive. First two seasons were a blast. Third one rubber got a bit harder and I noticed it on wet road. Will buy them again for new e-tron. Best price / performance ratio. Highly reccomend these tyres!

Good on snow

Not bad on snow but on wet dangerous

An amazingly comfortable tyre, great cushioning for a car weighing 2,000 kg and incredibly quiet. Road properties in winter are fully satisfactory, the car sticks to the road and does not lose traction.

Great value

Excellent tyre. I'm driving A6 Allroads for the past 10 years (changed 3 cars, 4G facelift being the latest model) and I was always running on Michelin CrossClimate and CrossClimate+. However, newest Michelin CrossClimate2 was just way too expensive, so I decided to give Vredestein a try. And I have to admit that I'm totally satisfied with this tyre! Everything runs smooth, I have full control over the car on both dry and wet. When driving through water, Vredestein simply does not do aquaplannung and handles perfectly, while CrossClimate always floated and couldn't handle the aquaplanning properly. The only minor drawback is it's noise that I didn't have on CrossClimate's, but since car has acoustic shielding in windshield, I really don't care. :) Plus, it's always kinda cool to see that 'Giugaro design' marking on the tyre. Since there was no snow last season, I have no clue how it performs on snow and ice, but quattro is quattro and I am convinced there will be no problems with it.

Going from the stock OE Asymmetric 2's to these would be a decent step up or so I thought, while the tire is good in general the unbelievable road noise at 60mph+ is horrific and certain surfaces seem to exacerbate the problem. By far the noisiest tire i've every heard, it may be the 20" in conjunction with a harder compound and tread pattern. Apart from this the tire is rock solid performance wise, A6 Allroad 272 is heavy car but these are not phased at all.

Used Audi A6 Allroad bought recently with these tyres fitted, 6mm tread depth all round, having covered 800 miles in the three weeks I will without doubt be having these tyres off my car as soon as possible. Wet grip is almost non-existent having let go twice in the wet on roundabouts at very moderate speed, they roll under in moderate cornering in the dry, tyre pressures are at manufacturer recommended. Cannot comment on wear though comfort, in a straight line, is reasonable. I will not buy in future

Pleased with these tyres. Used on a heavy Audi A6 Quattro the fronts are obviously wearing quicker but at this rate I am estimating 15k on fronts to wear indicator and 21k rears. Not used in snow yet but best performance in wet. Slight drift when new in dry but as bedding in they're the best dry grip tyres I've used when compared to Michelin, Pirelli and Continental. I would buy again but perhaps go for the all season tyres from Avon due to living innorth of Scotland.

Incredible tyres! Bought them in October 2015 and I'm still driving them, over 60.000km on Audi A6 Allroad 4x4! Tyre wear is fantastic, I can still drive on them for at least 10000km, but I'll buy new set of CrossClimate+ for original dimension (245/45/18)...
Dry handling is perfect, on wet surface they behave very good but sometimes they do skid in sharp turns, but that might be because of my heavy foot on powerful 4x4. Snow performance is... well, it drives on snow, which is everything I need... :) Noise ... what noise?
In any case, HEAVY recommendation, especially to Audi A6 drivers!

These have lasted 6 years of mixed motoring throughout typically mixed Cornish weather, and they would be continuing if it weren't for the fact that sunshine does cause outer wall deterioration to any tyre . . It sits out on my driveway.
So, I will be getting another set, as the only problem I did have within the first week of purchase an inner wall bulged . . Avon replaced it.
I feel reassuringly safe with these on my big heavy Allroad, particularly when hitting standing water on our country roads.
Despite its official noise rating, I find cabin intrusion minimal, mainly due to poor roads maintenance, and of the low frequency type, not high irritating whine.
I intend following my local garage advice of applying tyre protection from month 1.
My journeys vary from pebble beach, fields, country lanes and major highways . . Good for a Quattro, very pleased with this product!
