Fitment comes from each tyre's manufactured size list, and the sizes are the ones drivers reported when they reviewed. Check the size, load index and speed rating on your own doorplate before buying - a size a previous owner ran is not always the size your car left the factory on.
How long do tyres last on the Opel Insignia?
Across 19 end of life reviews from Opel Insignia drivers, a typical set of tyres was worn out after 30,000 miles. Half of all worn-out sets lasted between 15,000 miles and 34,000 miles.
Distances are self-reported by drivers whose review marked the set as worn out; figures are medians, so a single unusual report cannot move them.

What Opel Insignia drivers say
The most recent owner reviews from this car, in their own words.
On Opel Insignia A 1.8 petrol. Have them for 2 summer seasons, 20000+ km or 12000 miles. So far so good. Very satisfied. Speed is always on allowed limit maybe 10 kmph + on highway. Uploaded pics front and back. tread at the middle is above 6 mm in the edges goes down to 5mm or 4mm. Still running. No issues. Good choice for everyday driving.
After 20000 miles I can rate these as very good tyres. I have tried to assign score in each category according to my experiences with other all season tyres I have driven (Pirelli SF3, Vredestein Quatrac, Bridgestone A005 evo and Toyo Celsius 2) and not compare it to specialized summer or winter tyres.
On family estate car I find them great in both dry and wet. Since we do not have much snow here, I have driven on snow for only a few days and it felt good enough and safe. I have not observed any apparent disadvantage to winter tyres (I live in a lowland country type with not many steep hills).
From the comfort perspective they seem to be on the firmer side and they needed quite a lot of miles to became quieter. On the other hand, thanks to the firmness the car feels stable even at high motorway speeds.
Overall, I would recommend them especially if you want an all season tyre that feels closer to summer tyre.
Fuel consumption seems to be a tiny bit lower (2-3%) in comparison to previous Conti SportContact 5.
I am definitely getting another set for the secomd car this autumn.
I did 4000 km, so I can share my initial impression.
Excellent wet/dry grip- perfect behaviour on road-steering response feel sporty, I go higher speed in curve as it was with Bridgestone turanza005
Fuel compsuption max 0.1l higher to my previous tires- I expected worse.
Rim protection perfect.
Tires really glides on road- I feel car starts accelerate downhill faster.
What is the weak point is noise - they makes hummling noise in 80-100 kmph. I did 2 times wheel alignement, switch back to front- no change. Change tyre pressure to 2.6/2.2 bar- almost same..Winter tires no signs of simillar noise. This happens only when si sunny hot day, When is max w25 and cloudy then it´s ok
Comfort in terms of bumpy road is ok.
I would say, not great, not terrible.
Pros:
Fuel consumption
Dry grip
Cons:
Too loud- bad annoying noise no matter of pressure/speed
Weak wet grip/handling
average steering response
In my opinion I would not recommend this tyre because it,s not all rounded wheel but primarily focused on low rolling resistance.
Dry handling/traction excellent.
Wear is OK,
Wet handling - all good
Ice/snow- I would say the weakest part of tyre. Comfort fantastic - definetely quiter than summer Bridgestone Turanza t005…
Consumption - not so big diference to summer tyre.
I have them on Opel Insignia- recommend to all!
So far i ran the tires around 15.000 km and lost 1.5mm out of the 5.5mm tread on the front , and only lost 0.5 on the back . so i think ill get aroud 60.000km out of it if i switch them every year . Found out they have like 0 traction on snow , keep that in mind .
