Best Tyres for the SEAT 184hp TDI Leon

Very good peak grip in both wet and dry. They are comfier than the fk510s and quieter as well. The handling is very nice and the grip is very progressive you can very easily feel it beginning to slip before there are any problems. Fantastic value for money would certainly buy again.

Very precise tire on dry roads with excellent steering response. Very rigid sides for great stability and maneuverability. The answer is direct and very precise. Good feedback. Rolling silence and correct comfort for a hyper sport tire. Good in fuel consumption and longevity. Good grip in the rain but worse braking distance than Assymetric 5. I even found that the grip was not so bad on the snow. In short, I recommend this tire 100% if you like to have a little fun

Worst tyres I've ever had, fine in the dry, deadly in the wet

Without doubt the worst tyres I've ever had, was given 4 new tyres with the car the difference between grip in wet and dry is outrageous. In the wet they are just dangerous, no other word for them traction control will regularly kick in in 3rd gear. No confidence in cornering whatsoever the only good thing I can say about them is the seem to last for ages! I still have plenty of tread after a year's worth of driving but I am changing them this week after a couple more mess the bed moments

Bought these part worn with 6mm tread left. They have been fantastic in the snow and ice in 2019. Good in the wet (better than my continental summer types) and mostly fine in the dry. I live in the peak district in Derbyshire, so there are many opportunities for going quickly on national speed limit roads. Both braking and turning have been excellent in the snow, to the point where i was able to get up hills other 4x4's and smaller vehicles could not.
The only negative i'd say, is that if you are driving with gusto, overcrest hills are a nightmare and the sidewalls fold in. That said, my summer tyres are much lower profile and handle perfectly, so the winter tyres didnt stand a chance. My driving style is 90% economy to work and back, 10% nutter on the country lanes at the weekend. I must say though, this is the only set of winter tyres i have had on the front.
