Methodology & Configuration
Scoring Process
  1. Collect Test Data: Gather results from professional tyre tests across multiple publications. Minimum 1 test(s) required.
  2. Normalize Positions: Convert test positions to percentile scores using exponential weighting (factor: 1.2).
  3. Apply Recency Weighting: More recent tests are weighted higher with a decay rate of 0.95.
  4. Incorporate User Reviews: Factor in user review data (minimum 5 reviews). Weight: 15%.
  5. Bayesian Smoothing: Apply Bayesian prior (score: 7, weight: 1.5) to prevent extreme scores with limited data.
  6. Calculate Final Score: Combine all components using normalization factor of 1.1. Max score with limited data: 9.5.

Is this really an All-Season tyre in European understanding? The thread pattern suggest it should be called a summer tyre here, while in the US it might hold the All-Season badge.

No, you are correct, while this is an all season tyre in the US, it doesn't have the snow or ice abilities of a true European all season tyre.

Handling is the worst problem and from my experience emergency manoeuvres are chaotic.

Given 80% while driving a Kia Motors Seltos S (215/55 R17) on a combination of roads for 50 average miles
These tires came with my car. They are quiet, have worn well. I really like them but now it's time to change them out. Here are the facts even though this tire has a really low rating. They have worked out pretty good. I've looked at all the big names tires and really honestly there is a wide mixture of reviews. So mine are cheaper and made I think in Korea. I drive in snow slowly. I don't zip down the highway. If I were to drive my car in the winter I would buy snow tires. All weather tires no matter the brand are average. After looking at all the expensive to cheap reviews. I'm going to stick with what I have. A big or popular name doesn't make the difference. It's the wear and tear and I get fantastic mileage with these tires. My car was rated at 30 mph. I have gotten 52 miles to the gallon and these tires have a lot to do with that.

Very happy overall with these tyres. Have driven just over 60,000kms. The overall performance of these tyres in all conditions is pretty good. They represent great value for money. I have no hesitations when it comes to replacing my current tyres with another set of the same tyres.

Wear us an issue since this is a low profile tyre .. grip is good and handling is great .. but the best thing about it is noise ...it's very quiet and looks good for good measure.
