BMW 330d Tyre Review Highlights
Got these tyres for my g21 330d 18inch size 225 front 255 rear, previous tyres were bridgestone turanza 6 all 4 225 and PC7 is definately louder, nothing excessive its just that turanza 6 was really quiet, every other thing performance dry/wet/ braking dry/wet has also improved, especially in the wet.
Not much to say other than im very pleased, but considering these are one of the most expensive tyres you can buy, its to be expected.
Cant say much about wear so far they look like new, i've had PC6 in the past on my leon FR and they were bald in 10k miles.

Due to the odd/rare size of the rear tyres fitted to my car (a 2010 330d), their was only a choice of 2 decent tyres, these and the even older Goodyear Asymmetric 2s.
Compared to the A2's I had before the PS4 is a revelation in the wet, the grip in the wet was absolutely staggering (above 7C, below which any summer tyre will increasingly struggle), it felt like it almost matched the A2s grip in the dry! Truly amazing grip in the wet!
Grip in the dry seemed good too, although I never pushed them cornering.
A big downside though was the rate they wore at, I nearly got caught out hitting the legal wear limit (1.6mm), I usually change tyres at 2.5mm.
Although this was partly due to my mileage shooting up that year (due to a job change), it was also down to how quickly the tyres were wearing, from new to ~1.6mm (for the NSR, OSR was ~2.7mm) in about 13.2 k miles. Whereas the last set of GY A2s lasted ~18.6k (rears again).
Their is the mitigating circumstance that I found the rear tracking was out shortly after replacing them, by how much I don't know because the garage's printer wasn't working and they didn't bother to take a photo of it either! That said, it was tracking straight and the outer and inner edges and groves had worn similarly, although the rear was tramlining somewhat (which reduced quite a bit after having it tracked).
Also it seems that the factory pressures are too high for the rears making them wear more in the middle, see their final tread depths below (for each main groove) and make your own mind up. But certainly the A2s pumped up to the same pressures and likely the rear tracking had been a bit out for years as the rear tramlining issue (mainly on the concrete bit of the south part of the M25!) had also been around for years!
NSR 3.2, 2.4, 1.6, 2.7
OSR 3.5, 2.7, 2.7, 3.5
Since then I've fitted Goodyear Asymmetric 6s (I had to downsize slightly to 245/40 17 to get them), and actually their not faring much better :(, they've covered 12.6k miles and are down to 3mm in the ctr grooves already (I can't recall what the outer's were, but theirs a smaller difference than the PS4s, which is at least partly down to the slightly lower pressure I use now, 2.5 Bar vs 2.7, not to mention the tracking being done at the beginning of their life).

With the time it starts to really pull on uneven roads, vibrates, the water that is on the road when you hit it, it doesn’t cut the water to the side it throws the water straight on the windshield… Overall i am giving it 5/10 because of these reasons if it wasn't for these cons it would have been 9/10

After two seasons and around 10k km with moderate driving rear tyres were left with 6mm.

had to buy these Momo tires because it was the only thing available at 3 AM. If you go easy on power on dry tar roads it's okay even at 190km/h
the moment you your a bit in a rush you crash. I'm pretty sure these will make good drift tires but only for a couple of turns
wet grip is horrible, in my automatic I just let the brake go just so it starts to turn so that the grim doesn't break.
on wet tar, I get wheel spin at 80km/h when I put my foot down.

I bought a pair of these to replace the old PS4S's that i had on the back of my remapped 430d RWD.
So far they have been faultless with amazing grip in the wet and dry, whilst having great resistance to aquaplaning.
The PS5 isn't quite as hardcore as the 4S they replaced but with that comes greater comfort and lower noise levels which suit a GT car more in my opinion. Plus I also think the wet and dry level are just as good if not better than the PS4S.

Comparably they have feedback like my older tires Toyo Proxes Sport from 2020. A lot quieter in lower speeds though and also ride comfort is better. Dry grip and braking distance is alright, I get lose tail in the wet on RWD E91 330D, which is alright too :D. Hope they keep feeling like that after few thousand miles.

These tyres never feel overwhelmed - great in the wet, good in dry conditions and the occasional snow. Great feedback and precision (for a winter tyre). Only on black ice the grip fades They are also silent and comfortable.

These the worst tyres I have ever used. How a brand positioned as a premium choice can discharge a product with almost zero grip in wet conditions is surprising. Adding the vague, almost non-existing steering feel and an intense humming noise as they started to wear. Scrapped them with plenty of tread left. Avoid!
