An impressive all round tyre. In 20,000 miles of motoring the rears had only lost 1.5/32s which is very low wear on a big vehicle like the atlas. Comfort levels weren't the best but they weren't offensive. Didn't get chance to run them in much snow or ice sadly.

This is my 2nd set of the Defender LTX and they are the best tire I have even had. Smooth, quiet and great in all weather. Also wears great. I have tired Goodyear, Firestone, Hankook--were so bad I drove out of the dealer and right to a tire store to trade them in for the Michelin Defender. I actually tried them once and they lasted 25k miles. Terrible high speed ride and noisy. Never again. Also over the years Dunlop and continental. All garbage tires. Either failed or a lousy ride especially at high speeds. Two sets of Goodyears had cracks in the sidewall the first year of having them. Goodyear said nothing they could do. The one time I had Dunlop on a trip the tires had a terrible high speed shake. I stopped at a tire dealer during my trip and they confirmed the 2 tires were bad. Since all these tire problems over the years I will only put Michelins on my cars!!

Excellent quality tires and still have 5-10K miles of tread left after 60,000. You get what you pay for and for a little more, these Michelins save $$ in the long run (if you keep your vehicle for 8 years or more).

Michelin has always been know for their high price and great quality. That is word of mouth. I bought my first set of Michelin tires and they are the worse tire I have every bought. Road noise is like a mud tire, I go stuff in my own drive way that is gravel. ( Never happen in 22 years with any other tire) For the first time ever I took off from a light and the tires spinning and it's only raining outside. These tires are the worse and dangerous.

Purchased Defender LTX M/S for my 2016 Highlander in September, 2019. After 30,000 miles, I highly recommend. Great in snow, wet, dry conditions. Very secure on the road. Quiet! Low rolling friction which has increased gas mileage by 1 to 1 1/2 mpg. I expect to get 70K + tread wear.

Best all around tire for SUV. Best ICE tire thats not a winter only tire
