The worst tyres I ever had, I still cannot believe those are preferred on fast BMW, Audi and Porsche. Budget tyres handle better in the wet. I went back to Michelin summer and Goodyear winter.

Kumho Ecsta Sport PS72 245/40 R20 BYD Sealion 7 Performance 6,000 miles September 9, 2026

Fitted Kumho Ecsta Sport PS72 tyres to my BYD Sealion 7 AWD Performance, replacing the original Michelins. The improvement was immediately noticeable: sharper steering, better turn-in and a much more planted feel through corners. The strong sidewalls suit the weight and torque of the car particularly well. Excellent EV-ready XL tyres at a very good price.I would happily buy the same tyres again.

A well balanced tyre.
They do everything well, but nothing truly outstanding.
Good wear rate, they are on a heavy EV.

These have been better than expected for the price. Handles decently on dry and wet conditions. They make a decent all-weather option - decent traction on packed snow, got squirrelly above 60-65mph on packed snow and slush on the highway but I wouldn't have driven that fast in those conditions if I weren't testing the tires. Road noise is pretty good - they seem to have a similar tread pattern as the Continental DWS06's. If they can last half as long as the UHP brands I'll consider this a great value buy.

These tires came with the new car in 2016 they have been every thing I would hope for on a sports car , I have not raced the car but have done my share of fun driving , It sticks to the road like its on rails. Have not had any other tires on this car but need to get new ones this summer. These are runflats, not sure if I will get the runflats again but had no trouble with them . Most of the time the car was used in warm sunny weather with the top down, and some cooler nights and some wet weather as well no snow and or ice ever. never on gravel just paved streets and highways. Mostly driving at posted speed limits that very from one place to another.

I have these tyres on a 2007 Hiace van. The van is used for all duties including holidays, i own a van rather than an SUV as its more user friendly. The Triangle Effexsport TH202 have been great tyres. I note that the van is very stable when driving on twisty New Zealand roads. In the wet the tyres give me a surprising amount of confidence. I flatted a tyre at speed on the motorway, the tyre stayed on the rim but was damaged (creased sideway due to driving a distant while flat to get to a safe spot).
Yes i would buy again, in fact i just did.

Driven a lot of cars with lots of different premium tyres, these are NOT premium in the slightest. Wet grip is dangerous. Wear rate is the worst i have seen. Avoid

Certainly worst tyres I had and those cam factory fitted on my BMW 7 Series. Recommended for Audi S5 and Sport BMW's. You must be mad to buy it. I compare to Michelin, Pirelli, GoodYear, Hankook, Nokian, Continental. Literally every other tyre I had was better. Also - this tyres almost killed me in wet when new. Improved after couple weeks of driving, but still let's go at 40mph on a roundabout if there is a rain. Total cr**p.
