245/35 20 Tyre Review Highlights
A fantastic all round sportish tyre for the price. grips very well in dry and wet conditions, perfect for the summer and cooler months anything above 5 degrees the tyre will perform fine...road feedback and responsiveness not the best at all but it will do the job safely. poor on icey/frosty roads watch out for that and keep the ESC on for the bendy corners. badly affects consumption when worn out or down it will worn down if you are a sport/spirited driver. Max 26000km max.

I came from a hankook ventus s1 evo3 . But they had pretty bad dry cracks even before the tire ran out of life . I have 245/35/20 tires . the comfort on the firestones are a little bit worse then the hankooks . i could run the hankooks on 2.5 bar , these on 2.3 for the same comfort . i think the firestones are a bit more fuel efficient , even when they are on a lower tire pressure . Dry grip is very good , never lost any traction , even in the rain . aquaplanning is also very good , never had any feel of losing controle .
So far i ran the tires around 15.000 km and lost 1.5mm out of the 5.5mm tread on the front , and only lost 0.5 on the back . so i think ill get aroud 60.000km out of it if i switch them every year . Found out they have like 0 traction on snow , keep that in mind .

Just like everyone else says, dry pavement they are ok, wet pavement is always an adventure. I literally hydroplaned for 15 miles straight on the highway during a rainstorm. I was amazed I never ended up in the concrete wall, but I attributed that to my driving skills.

Just recently had my third blowout in 9 months. These are the most fragile tyres I’ve ever used.
Being fitted to a BMW 640d they do have a fair bit of weight on them, however after 3 blow outs and 2 slow punctures in 9 months it appears they’re just completely unusable. If you’re reading this, and it’s not too late, please buy something (anything) else. You’d probably have better luck with tyres made of spaghetti.

Went for the Yokohama after Hankooks, which they are the best for me price/quality/comfort and regret it, as they stiffer on drive, and much much noisy, will transfer a bad quality road onto the car avoiding suspension even using pressure of 2,2 bar front and 2,4 rear, although it was recommended by the local tyre shop, for their quietness. Dry weather driving it's no sweat for them, but on a little rain they will be spinning when you driving off if you just little harder on accelerator pedal. 265 here on rear wheel drive, no crazy driving, automatic BMW 730d G11.

Great for the price. Local garage replaced my fronts with these in place of the ones they originally came on. Bridgestone. Feel exactly the same but they were a lot cheaper than what they told me they’d cost to replace with the same again

Super tyres in wet and dry . i have them on 20 inch rims and they are still comfy to ride . The only complain i have is that they start having dry cracks before they are worn out . The car inspection said they have to be replaced at the next inspection next year . So its a bit sad i have to put new tires on before they met the minimum marker . But its not that bad . they would maybe last 1 more extra year . But i wont buy them again because if this problem . they lasted 4.5 years and about 28.000 miles .

Had to replace my P Zero tyres at 40,000km (screws, pot holes etc.) Buying a set of 4 of these was $200 less than 2 P Zeros tyres.
The economy has dropped a little.
Road noise is slightly up.
Handles good in a 300hp AWD car.
Same Speed rated as more expensive tyres.

These tyres have lasted 21,000 miles and are 5-6mm all round on the front which is brilliant wear and they are runflat.
Dry and wet grip excellent and are as comfortable as runflats can be on 20 inch wheels.
These are gen 2 runflats and better than gen 1 dunlop sp sport maxx gt that were horrible and distorted when you hit a pothole. These have managed to hold up so far on potholes.
I think they will do 40,000 miles and i will do end of life review.

I did 16.600km this year since March 2023 to November 2023. I was extremely disappointed to see that the tires had worn out quite fast, and I only drove the car on asphalt (no track) and occasionally some launch control. I can barely use them next year with 1mm left to the wear indicator, it's risky and I might have to change them again.
Now other than the wear which I find terrible for an expensive and high end road tire, I find the grip very good on both wet and dry surface, HOWEVER this happened only until tires started to worn out then I started loosing grip and very often wheels were spinning when kicked down on throttle...I started blaming the Haldex unit, so I did a Haldex maintenance thinking that rear traction was not working properly, but in fact it was just the tires loosing grip because once they get close to the wear indicator, it's over.
Conclusion very good tires overall for a limited period, up to maximum 15.000km probably 20.000 if you drive in comfort mode all the time, however paying 800euros for such tires, does it really worth it ? Pretty sure there are other brands out there, not as popular as Continental with a lower price but at least the same performance.

This review relates to Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 ROF * (BMW) and specifically 245/35/R20. I have had a couple of sets of Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3s over the years (not ROFs) and I have been pleased with them, but this was my first outing fitting a full set of ROF to my BMW640D Coupe (275/30/R20 to the rear) in October 2019. Shortly after fitting them, I retired, so I am only now covering some 6,000 miles a year. In October 2021 after 12,000 miles, the car failed its MOT as the nearside front tyre had developed "a bulge, caused by separation or partial failure of its structure". I replaced the tyre with a new Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 ROF *. Less than 12 months later the car developed a "judder", which initially every "expert" put down to an issue with the rear of the car. After extensive investigations (and cost), by 2 reputable wheel specialists and BMW it transpires that the issue relates to the 2 front tyres having lost "their integrity" (the alloy wheels were found to be in "remarkably good condition for BMW wheels"). One of the wheel specialists and BMW were able to balance the wheels (with the addition of a significant number of weights at differing points on the inner and outer edges of the wheels) , but this has lasted less than 2 months and the judder has returned with "a vengence", the only option is to replace the tyres. I have approached Goodyear, but they have not as yet to acknowledge my email. Amazingly the rear tryes have been fine (down to approx. 4mm after 18,000 miles), apart from the bone jarring and the "skip and jump" every time they hit a bump in the road - but that is no different to the originally fitted Dunlop Sport Maxx!

OK, I bought this tyre because it was fairly well priced here in Aus compared to the PS4s/SportContact6/PZ4 and they seem to have reviewed quiet well. 100% the tyre for the person who wants grip and wants the feeling of I can go around corners and just mash the throttle. Loads of grip in the wet and dry. I also felt it had good feedback through the steering wheel too. I've taken these tyres up to the mountains etc and they performed well.
Thats where the good stuff ends. Although they had loads of grip and a great value I only got 15,000Kms from them. If it was a weekend car I would fit these tyres for sure 100% all the time. But being a daily and the High amount of kms I do per year its simply not worth the hassle getting them replaced every 15k kms. I came from OEM PZ4 and they lasted 38k kms... these Bridgestone were not half the price. so back to the PZ4 im going.
