Firstly I'd like to correct/add to something I said in a review about the Mich PS4 where I mentioned the Asy 6s didn't seem to be doing much better. It seems the last bit of tread in the Asy 6s last much longer!, going from 3mm @12.6k to 1.7mm (a bit close!) @21k, so they last much longer than the PS4 tyres on the rear! (The PS4 tyres only lasted 13.2k miles!!).

The FK510 was a great tire for daily driving. It made it through the occasional track day without having too much issues, but the frequency of my visits were getting too high to stay with a 300tw tire, and switched to the Hankook RS4, then to the Nankang CRS, which are in another world regarding grip and heat management. the FK510 is much less noisy though, and way better in the rain. definitely on of the best I've used in wet condition, better than the indy 500 IMO. For a sporty daily driver, it's a great tire, and its replacement can only be better. No brainer if you get a good price on it!
With over 20k miles on my Conti Sport 02 it was my third set as I have multiple vehicles and it never let me down. A fantastic tire for dry & wet and as of 2026 on my 5th set after retiring a couple of the older tires. Track capable for a few hot laps but a lot more trustworthy on the street or in touge conditions. If you don't need 200tw then sport 02's are the way to go imo.
Bought these in staggered fitment back in 2022. 215/40/17 and 245/40/17. Tyres fit the car well in terms of my driving style. There are quiet when cruising and acceptable in terms in comfort (Sidewall is very stiff). When pushing the car it provides a lot of grip for street use and when nearing the limit the tyres screeches hard making it easy to predict the limit of the rubber. They are the best looking tyre out there in my opinion. Tyres still have loads of tread left and can't notice degrading in performance. It seems the tyres sizes I have are not for sale anymore, only 6 sizes now. Real shame since there is not a good alternative tyre for these. They sit perfectly in between the usual UHP tyres and Trackday tyres and is a jack of many trades in that plus the looks of it.
These tires are specifically for my autocross/track car. My first impression was that they were instantly on, very compliant regarding the weather (40-95f). They perform amazingly in all facets. I would drive hundreds of miles to and from my events ON THEM, and I put on thousands of miles on top of the laps I was doing. They performed excellently. I didn't even realize they had gotten worse until one cold lap I ended up looping my vehicle. Turns out I had 1/32nd of tread left, but it gave it all up until then. I liked them so much I got them again for this season. Will swap them out half way for either the RE71RZ or the A052.
I have these on my 650-700kw rwd skyline. Grips better than 100utqg nt01. Not better than Mickey street R. Mickey's don't fishtail but these do SLIGHTLY on full power 2nd gear which is impressive. Obviously no slip in the wet compared to Mickey's when cruising 100kmh on the highway rain. Perfect for a high performance daily just don't be a hoon in the wet. Wear is much better than nt01 and Mickey's which only last 1 year. These ar1 are at over a year still plenty to go. Never aligned since installedd lol still chunky. 100% buy again for purely the dry grip on full power. Wet grip on daily and long life compared to other semi slicks. Best I had. I've tried nt01 nt05 rsrr r1r mtComp. etStreetR. best overall balance for a high performance rwd daily.
Good tire on the rear of a C-Class. No negative impact and quiet. It also looks good. Sturdy tread blocks.
Swapped from Michelins.
In the front this turned the steering feel from responsive and sharp, to slightly dull and heavy. So much that i ditched the fronts and went back to Michelins super Sports up front.
Kept the Bridgestones in the rear, as the grip is phenomenal.
There are a few more things i don't like about them tho. Even if the sideways grip is great, they do tend to spin a bit easy. Even with lsd on a 300hp car, they do slip in first and second gear on the dry, in a mid engine car.
Also they are a bit noisy, and the life span is horrible. From new, to legal limit they have lasted about 15000km. Driving mostly on b roads.
