Methodology & Configuration
Scoring Process
  1. Collect Test Data: Gather results from professional tyre tests across multiple publications. Minimum 1 test(s) required.
  2. Normalize Positions: Convert test positions to percentile scores using exponential weighting (factor: 1.2).
  3. Apply Recency Weighting: More recent tests are weighted higher with a decay rate of 0.95.
  4. Incorporate User Reviews: Factor in user review data (minimum 5 reviews). Weight: 15%.
  5. Bayesian Smoothing: Apply Bayesian prior (score: 7, weight: 1.5) to prevent extreme scores with limited data.
  6. Calculate Final Score: Combine all components using normalization factor of 1.1. Max score with limited data: 9.5.

Given 80% while driving a Mitsubishi Lancer 1.6 16V (2003 2008) (205/60 R16) on a combination of roads for 30,000 spirited miles
Great tires for new vehicle. But on the wet, they might be slippery. Fast driver Got Mitsubishi Lancer 2017

Given 73% while driving a Mitsubishi Lancer Mivec (205/60 R16) on mostly motorways for 40,000 average miles
This was the factory set tires on my 1.6 Lancer and put in it roughly 40K miles over 5 seasons. I haven’t found it any spectacular but did the job. I think the rolling resistance is a bit higher than average; but in general it gave me ample feedback despite the relatively tall tire walls. The tread wear was fine but it has definitely reached the end of its life.

Given 66% while driving a Toyota Corolla Altis (205/55 R16) on mostly town for 23,600 average miles
Nice tyres. Have used them in all weather and all types of roads and off-roads. Came as stock on my Toyota Corolla Altis. Started to get hard after 2.5 years. Replacing them in 2.8 years at 38000 kms.

Given 66% while driving a Toyota Auris (205/55 R16 V) on a combination of roads for 0 average miles
What I like is that it's durable, I already have 67000Km and it's time to change them, I'm evaluating what to put them ... I think it's going to be a S. drive ... I hope they last and are more fun

Excellent tire , especially for the dry and hot summer. I regret that this model is no longer manufactured

I've just replaced them after 50,000km. I could have gotten another 5,000km if the previous owner had rotated them. These tyres have amazing grip in wet and dry conditions. Having fun on mountain passes I always chicken out before the tyres start hinting at loss of grip. They are slightly noisy though. My new Vredestein Hi Trac 2's are noticably quieter. If you can live with the noise and you like throwing your car around the windy stuff and can actually find a set then I cannot recommend these tyres highly enough.

Given 67% while driving a Mitsubishi CJ Lance ES (205/60 R16 V) on mostly motorways for 50,000 easy going miles
Long Lasting (75,000km) OEM on a Mitusbishi Lancer. No complaints about Dry Grip, found these were quite a firm ride for a 60 profile. These are terribly noisy, well... actually deafening towards end of life. Not recommended due to noise !!

Given 66% while driving a Mazda MX5 (185/60 R14 V) on a combination of roads for 20,000 spirited miles
Great in the dry but definitely not in the wet! I only buy these for my MX5 because they're the best available for the rim size. Next season, I'll buy new rims and better tyres!

Given 94% while driving a Ford Focus (205/55 R16) on a combination of roads for 20,000 easy going miles
i am a slow driver. so maybe in terms of grip for both wet and dry. i may not be the best person to trust.

but, last week. i had to brake really hard in the rain. swerving away from the fallen tree. then i realised how important good tyres are.

these are wonderful tyres. saved my life.

Given 96% while driving a Peugeot 308 (195/55 R16) on a combination of roads for 19,000 spirited miles
very good tyres. used them more than 3 years and for more than 19k miles. still looks very new. i think these tyres might last forever!

very good handling. confident on wet, great when dry.

my only negative about this tyre would be that i cant find it anywhere online.

Given 96% while driving a Toyota Altis (205/55 R16) on a combination of roads for 21,000 average miles
I bought these tyres because it was on sale. In Singapore, tyres never go one sale.

I read reviews on this site that these tyres are noisy and uncomfortable.

i do believe that these guys are dead wrong.

i am currently using all 4 on my Altis (not the most sound proofed car)

It has been a relevation. very very good tyres.

great grip, quiet, sharp handling, very good feel too.

these are the best tyres i have used.

Given 56% while driving a Lexus CT200h (205/55 R16) on a combination of roads for 40,000 average miles
Have it stock on my CT. the most annoying tyres in the world (in terms of noise that is)

it wails and wails on free ways.

also, i am waiting for it to wear out faster so that i could change, but these darn tyres lasts for more than 40k miles already and it looks halfway only.

these tyres are great if you are looking for decently price performer.

but the noise it generates, drives me nuts.

terribly noise tyres. great grip but ridiculously noisy.
