Questions and Answers for the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2
Ask a questionHi, can you tell me on average how long or how many miles this Tyre should last for please? Thank you
I am looking for a replacement set of tyres for a 2006 jaguar xjr. I have had Hankook Ventus V12's which were a great tyre but soft sidewalls. Nexen N1000 have been a great compromise but they pick up punctures easily so I am getting rid of them. Problem is the cost of medium range tyres has exploded over the past 6 years and there is little difference between a nexen Su1, dunlop maxx 050+ and goodyear AS3. One of the tyre shops hates Goodyear product and says they are inferior quality despite the high test scores. I heard the AS2 is a better tyre than the AS3 because it has a stronger sidewall. So what is the best choice of tyre if i don't want to spend crazy money on Michelin.
According to the National Tyre Service these tyres should only be fitted to Porsches. Is that correct? I have an Audi Q5. Thanks Chris

A minority report issues with soft sidewalls/run-flat variants (bulges, wobble) and increased noise or performance drop as tread or age progresses.
