Dry grip exceptional not sure how a tyre built for comfort and longevity has dry handling that behaves like a pilot sport 4s. Wet grip and braking super predictable used in Scottish winter in greasy roads with lots of standing water. Zero aquaplaning this tyre should not be able to have this well balanced all rounder. New Michelin compound must have some magic sauce. I cant recommend highly enough for UK roads these are ideal. Nice quiet ride also.

Just got the new Primacy 5s installed. Big upgrade from the stock Nexen N’Fera Sport tyres on my Audi A3! Much more comfortable, quieter and just overall more premium-feeling.

I'm not a tyre expert, all I can tell is that these tyres feel good. I don't drive aggressively, I drive for comfort and good fuel economy, and I can say that they are pretty decent for this.

Now almost 1K km after first installation replacing my Pilot Sports 5. I am sharing my experience in direct comparison to the PS5. Impressed with how tyres maintain grip on exceptionally wet road conditions (am from the tropical world). Going over a puddle of water made me realised that the car does not experience as much drag as my previous PS5. Great water dispersion / evacuation. Aqua planning resisting is good, and that is of paramount importance.
Handling and feel are not as good as PS5, at least to me, a small sacrifice as i am not exactly an aggressive driver. I put emphasis on safety, comfort and durability.
Rolling resistance is obvious, something you can feel, not just a number or a factor given by the manufacturer. It glided smoothly on the road, and as a bonus, tyres are so quiet and feels so supple, my car is now super comfy.
I have been driving over 40 years, and have used numerous tyres made by major brands (i will spare you the details) and i can attest that the Primacy P5 is the best set of tyres i have used todate, PROVIDED, that they last as long as what Michelin claimed.
But until then, I am fully loving those new tyres whole heartedly.

Best tyre so far. Noise level is very good, very comfortable for the passenger. Excellent confident wet grip in heavy rain, with no sign of aquaplanning. Wall is not too hard and not too soft, just perfect in SUV with no feedback to the steering wheel but still able to do sudden manouver.

For the price, I think it's the best tyre you can get with such comfort and grip.

Driven around 3500km so far and no sign of wear on the tyre. I think it will last for long.

I bought Michelin-Primacy-5 tires and had them shipped from Italy for my new Corolla before it had 5,000 miles on it. Since I live in Missouri I have a set of snow tires mounted on a set of wheels that were the winter set for my previous Corolla and have one more winter left in them so I did not need all-season tires. I was surprised that the car could squeal the OEM all-season tires during hard acceleration and turning in the rain however now that the Michelin-Primacy-5 tires are mounted the car does not have enough power to break traction under full acceleration in a turn in the rain. I have seen the difference in budget vs premium tires depicted in tire reviews online but did not expect to be able to feel the difference myself.

MY Volvo XC40 AWD has been driven mostly on highways and this spring I was wondering what to replace my good Continentals with, so I thought I might give this new Michelins a try. Gosh, these tyres are super silent! I've been driving on some silent tyres before but these are great! At first I thought they're not good at handling, but then I realized I'm going 20% faster than usual, because I was relying solely on the noise :)))
These are silent (even on highways) and pretty soft, so driving on highways is super comfortable. I cal also feel my AWD is like on rails while driving on local roads and I've never been able to loose a grip. Going through puddles on highway is like going on normal wet roads, without any resistance. After almost 4k miles I didn't notice they're worn at all and hope will last for 40k miles more. Hope I will be back here in a year or two with some more useful information, without any disappointments.

Absolutely fantastic tires with extremely low rolling resistance yet still excellent grip. It practically powers our Volvo V70 through fast corners, and on the highway, it reduces fuel consumption by about 0.5 liters per 100km compared to the previously fitted Premacy 4 tires, which were showing their age (10+ years old).

Changed from factory custom tyres(Bridgestone Alenza)for Corolla Cross . Bridgestone Alenza was one of the worst tires I ve ever used.

The change is dramatic . It is hard to hear road noise below 100 km , above 100 km noise level is very low. The comfort is perfect . While I did not try on wet , dry handling is better than Alenzas. I will update when I try on wet. I believe it will be much better than custom Alenzas.

I have currently driven 3500 km, mostly on highways and country roads. My car is a full-hybrid Honda, which can go few kilometers in electric-mode; I don't drive "racing mode" but not even "grandpa style"; just enjoying the pleasure of driving. These Primacy are really quiet, you almost can't even hear a rolling noise when driving with open windows on a good asphalt; on poor roads, more noise can be heard. On wet, it mostly feels like you are driving on dry asphalt, considering traction and stability. In the very early kilometers, tires gave a "metallic" hard feeling, which disappeared in few weeks.

Recently changed from primacy 3 to 5s. I was always satisfied with the 3s but the 5s really are a step up. The ride feel and roll resistance are excellent. My fuel consumption has definitely improved. I can't comment on it's wet weather performance yet (it's currently a bit dry in Australia) but it feels sure footed in the dry. It definitely feels like a premium tyre

Tire is very quiet and comfortable even on bumpy road. Dry and wet grip are both very good for a touring tires. Of course they are not UHP tires but even on a bit sportier ride tires feel safe. I don't know about wear yet, it's too early for that. I don't see any significant change in fuel consumption.

I recently bought a used 1.4 TSI Skoda Octavia estate on 16inch wheels. It came with Primacy 4s that were almost worn out. Where i live the roads are really bad, so when it time to change tyres, i figured i go all in on comfort and chose the primacy 5s. With that in mind, the tyres did not disappoint. They provide a very comfortable ride and they cushion most, if not all road imperfections, potholes etc. Also very quiet. Very good for cruising on the motorway and just relax. Fuel economy has been slightly worse, but that's to be expected from new tyres.
Grip is very good both on dry and wet, although you don't get much feedback from the road and now going into corners i drive slower than i used to.
Would i buy again? No. They are expensive (430euros) and the ride comfort difference is not as great as, say the pirelli cinturato P7C2 i have on my other car (also a 1.0 TSI Skoda Octavia with 16" rims) which are both comfortable and good on road feedback and cheaper.

I am not a tire expert. I bought 235/45 R18 98Y for my Passat. My first 1000 km wet road experience was not very positive! It did not renew my trust in the Michelin brand and left a question mark! Of course, the tire had its own safety warning for the first 600 km. The vehicle zigzags on the road in puddles and water on the wet road. There is a sudden change of direction in the direction of the current in the water on the road. I have not experienced sudden braking. I have not experienced dry road experience. I will share my wet and dry road handling and braking experience in the future. I hope it will not be like the first 1000 km, otherwise I will be nervous while driving.
