Methodology & Configuration
Scoring Process
  1. Collect Test Data: Gather results from professional tyre tests across multiple publications. Minimum 1 test(s) required.
  2. Normalize Positions: Convert test positions to percentile scores using exponential weighting (factor: 1.2).
  3. Apply Recency Weighting: More recent tests are weighted higher with a decay rate of 0.95.
  4. Incorporate User Reviews: Factor in user review data (minimum 5 reviews). Weight: 15%.
  5. Bayesian Smoothing: Apply Bayesian prior (score: 7, weight: 1.5) to prevent extreme scores with limited data.
  6. Calculate Final Score: Combine all components using normalization factor of 1.1. Max score with limited data: 9.5.

Given 32% while driving a Honda Accord i DTEC EX (235/40 R19) on mostly country roads for 5,000 spirited miles
Would not buy this brand ever again. Only bought as I couldn't get another imperial all season driver in this size on short notice.
In the dry it's ok but in the wet or icy conditions forget about it and the wear is terrible

Given 43% while driving a Audi 2.0tdi 140 sline sportback (225/45 R17) on mostly country roads for 18,500 average miles
These tires were mounted at the front when I bought my car, they were new about 250km, first mountain road in summer on dry ground the car seemed blurry, imprecise, and above all very heavy, loss of grip when cornering , abs which is triggered very early during heavy braking. I did not expect better when I saw the price of the tires. It's a disaster on a wet road, roundabout at 20km/h the car pulls straight, there were very worn Pilot sport 4s at the rear but the rear remained on the road. I finally chose to put them in the back after 2000kms, it's fun if you want to play countersteering, it's tires are really a disaster, horrible noise on the highway, sudden stall on wet road (thanks esp) and even on a dry road (if you avoid an obstacle for example) the car manages to oversteer. They had 18,000 km when I replaced them and visually the tire is not pretty, rubber stalled in certain places, it was almost at the witness.

Given 66% while driving a Opel Vectra C 1.9 cdti 120 hp (215/50 R17) on mostly town for 2,000 average miles
Bought these tyres already used, made in 2020, with like 8mm of thread left. Softness pretty decent, been riding in autumn - they were nice, although wet grip was not impressive, in higher speeds on a corners, you could feel a bit of slipping, dry grip is ok, braking is good too. Aquaplaning is good, cuz it has pretty wide gooves. Good on high speeds, no shaking or any other stuff. Everything changed when started snowing. Grip and braking on ice is poor, thank god for antislip system, snow grip not very good too. Generaly speaking, all season tyres for climate where there are no or very less snow and for temperatures just bellow zero. Good tyre for summer-autumn, maybe spring. Price was ok, would buy them again if needed, for winter i would mount a winter tyres instead.

Given 80% while driving a Opel Astra K 1.6 CDTI (225/50 R17 V) on mostly country roads for 3,100 easy going miles
I have driven about 5000 km on the Fortuna Ecoplus 4S tyre. All round a good experiences. The tire provides full value for money. If you have a general driving need and do not need to go on a skiing holiday. Fortuna all-season tires provide significantly better grip (autum, winter) on wet and cold roads in the morning compared to summer tires. A good choice if you do not want two sets of tires.
