These came fitted with the car, all in all positively unintrusive. On snow covered roads it's alright, if you adjust your speed accordingly.
Snow traction was quite good in a 2 tonne all wheel driven XC60.
The biggest issue was that if the vehicle started to slip the recovery time was just atrocious. Even just feathering the brakes they would lock up once traction loss occurred.
As an all season tire in milder climates it's surely quite good but in the region I live in, I'm going to change for the Hankook icept Evo 3 X's for the next winter.
I wasn't able to thoroughly test them in Hot/Summer Weather though, as they were swapped for Summer wheels, when temperatures reached 20° C they seemed pretty grippy and stable though.

This is a final update to me review from a long time ago. In the end I am very disappointed with the short life of the tire. After 30.000 kms of using it on a light AWD suv with easy driving, no towing, with rotations every 5k kms, proper inflation, these tires are down to a hair above 3mm. Because I drive a lot in Austria where for 5 winter months tires must be at least a 4mm deep, it is time to retire them in the middle of the winter. Otherwise, they have performed well and are in the good shape with an even wear. I have them on another Subaru but with only 20.000 kms on the clock they are OK. I will not get them again. In fact the replacement is Nexen N'blue 4season 2. Promises to be as good as Vredestein but should last much longer. (If I only drove in Germany where there are no 4mm restrictions they would probably lasted through the Summer and another 5k kms.

I bought them because i wantet some all-season tyres that are comfortabel, safe and non-directional in the tread-pattern. That so i can rotate them and get a longer live out of them.
They are very comfortabel and quiet on our rough asphalt roads. I don`t think that there are many other tyres that are that quiet and comfortabel than the Vredesteins. They are also very good in the rain. They behaved also good in the occasionally snow we have in the spring and the fall. But traction on ice seems limited. For the winter months i use studded wintertyres.
I drove them camly and relaxed on mostly country roads. With roating them every 9.000 km, they wore very even and kept their functions very well. But they wore very fast. After 3 seasons and 30.000 km i only have just under 4 mm tread left. Which soon makes them non legal as an all-season tyre here in Norway (min. 3 mm tread).

I was planning to replace them with the same tyre or even the quatrac pro+, but now i`m thinking about to get som light all-terrain tyres for a longer treadlife while still functioning as all-season tyres. I think i will go for the Yokohama G015 or the Falken AT3WA.

Below is my initial review, but after 9,000 miles, my opinion has changed significantly.

Initially, these tyres felt like a great all-season alternative for mild climates, offering strong dry and wet grip with progressive handling—almost like summer tyres but with a winter safety net. Comfort, noise, and rolling resistance were acceptable. However, things have taken a drastic turn.

Grip has fallen off a cliff—dry performance is now just average, while wet grip has become outright poor. The Fiesta ST is known for its playful chassis and easy to obtain liftoff oversteer. However now this tyres go straight into understeer followed by massive oversteer and either the ESC or the driver fighting to keep the car in a composed line, while all this is happening at 25mph. In winter conditions, they remain marginally better than a summer tyre, enough to get you out of trouble on flat terrain most likely purely down to its tread pattern, but nothing more. Surprise? In hindsight, not really. Despite minimal visible wear, they have a tread wear rating of 420, which likely explains this disappointing drop-off. They just hardened and it feels that they were all grip to start with, now purely focusing on tread longevity. For an all-season tyre, this level of change over three years is frustrating. Never experienced anything like this with any of my other all-season winter options in my other cars (Bridgestone, Michelin, Pirelli).

I'll need to replace them soon, even though they still look fresh. As I don't need to drive this car frequently anymore during winter months, I'll be reverting to a single UHP summer setup (Pilot Sport 5).
Downgrading my rating and recommendation accordingly.

Had a full set fitted to my remapped Skoda Rapid space SE sport 1.6tdi. Been running Goodyear Asymmetric 6's. Which were much better than the Continental's it came with.
Thought I'd go with an all season tyre this time . So far done 500 miles and they are exceeding my expectations. They are as comfortable ride as the Goodyear's. Possibly even better . Mpg seems not too bad just done a trip of 80 miles. On combination of motorway and A road's got 59.8 mpg. Weather was a bit mucky and cold average temp on the trip was 5'c tyre's felt good very safe feeling..

Bought as a replacement for Hankooks that came with vehicle. Quatracs were noticeably softer but that was the only difference. Nice ride on 18s that suits the Taigo R Line (auto, 150hp) No more crashing/ jarring over bumps, etc. Now reached 5K miles on these & very happy. Excellent wet performance. Fine in the dry. No issues whatsoever. Would happily buy again. Recommended for the UK where harsh winter conditions are rare. My second set of All Seasons & beat the Bridgstones I had (& would never buy again!)

I've been thoroughly impressed with this tyre. Between road noise being nearly silent, feedback! and overall grip in dry, wet and snow. I would consider myself a spirited driver. I live in the greater London area and 99% of the roads are paved. I have driven in light snow up and down the country in wet and this has left me with nothing but confidence in these tyres. Hydro/Aquaplaning is a thing of the past with these. Have never experienced it on the motorway even going thru standing water. These are on my 2011 Chevrolet Orlando 7 seater with independent front suspension and solid rear axle. We are a family of 6 and the car is often times fully loaded up whether with family and roofbox mounted or hauling to the tip. I have them rotated in an X formation once a year. Most of the driving I do is school run and local driving. The majority of longer drives are 1hr round trip. I've managed to get 38000 miles out of these tyres and I strongly believe they're probably good for another 10k. I haven't measured them but there is very little signs of wear (see pic attached). Considering I have electric steering on the vehicle, the feedback I get from these tyres are phenomenal. I have driven BMWs most of my life and it comes really really close. The only detriment would be in fuel consumption. Before the tyres (on very worn Cooper Zeons), I'd get about 32mpg on average. With these and they've been consistent from new to now, around 29.6mpg on average.

Excellent tire for all seasons. I use them as a winter set because I live in an area where there is little snow in the winter but there is a lot of rain and temperatures are -3 to +15, so I don't need real winter tires. Extremely quiet tire, excellent both in the wet and in the dry, and solid in the snow. I have covered about 30,000 km and now they have 6.5 mm. It is also very comfortable and resistant to hitting potholes on the road, of which there are many in Serbia. The only downside is the high price. Next set I will try Kleber Quadraxer3 or Fulda Multicontrol because they are cheaper in size 225/50r17

Bought a discovery 2 and immediately fitted vredistien quatrac Pro as we had just moved to a rural area in the Highlands of Scotland as winter was approaching.
I found the ride and drive in wet and dry conditions to be responsive and tyre feed back positive . Noise levels where negligible .
These tyres came into their own when it realy started to snow and temps went down to double digits ..driven through blizzards ,packed snow, ice and deep fresh snow always with an eye on safe stopping .
I only ever overly tested cornering and stopping on ice and snow on the day to see what conditions where like and traction control and abs would only come on when pushing it..have done over twenty k in winter conditions and can only praise these tyres . Great peace of mind . I guess driving 18 inch rims and 155 55 r18 on a 2 tonne 4× 4 may make a difference but highly recommend for any large 4×4 owners. I started to see the treads crumbling slightly at 30k but put that down to the local sharp granite chippings ..Will probably have to change at around 40 k for peace of mind for next winter

UPDATE. On November 12, 2021 I posted my initial review of this tire (Quatrac Pro 225/60/18) mounted on Subaru Outback. Here is an update after only 14k kms of easy driving. The tires are not "holding up.)." Shortly after initial installation I noticed vibrations. I attempted to balance them twice and rotated them. No results. Finally, the third time last Fall, an expert with a Hunter Road Force machine had a try. Three out of 4 tires showed defect... exerting way excessive Nm force. (110, 120, and 140) FYI. 90 or below is normal, I was told. I wrote to Vredestein customer service here in Germany about it but they brushed me off twice. Talk to the dealer answer. So, I decided to keep them over the winter and now I will discard them off and look for something else. Good that I have kept OEM wheels. (Vredestein were installed on "fancy" Flow Form Enkei rims which were also checked for the possible contribution to the problem but came clean) Again, the car was driven regularly although sparingly and never off road to cause damage to the tires. So, in this case not a quality tire and not a quality customer service. However, must report that in late 202 (after being impressed with the tire) 1 I have also installed same Qatar Pro tires on my Subaru XV (225/55/18 this time) and after 20k kms absolutely no balancing/quality problems. Wear is good and perfect.ly normal. Go figure, as they say.

These tires seriously saved my ass in some pretty difficult snow/slush conditions. I got caught in some really heavy snow while driving north to visit family, I ended up driving 5 hours on the interstate with slush all over the roads and these tires did unbelievably well for all-seasons. I 100% would have had to bail out if I had even slightly inferior tires. These are a really great winter tire choice for a sports car if you live somewhere that only occasionally gets snow and daily the car.

I have mounted the Vredestein Quatrac Pro on my Kia Sportage and have driven 4,000 kilometers on mainly city highways in dry weather, so I cannot yet assess all the tire's qualities. However, I have perceived great improvements over original equipment Hankook: better grip, better comfort, better feel and absolute quietness. also not bad rim saver, recommended. I look forward to testing them in extreme conditions. At that point I will update my review.

Although I've been using these tyres for a bit, and the dry and wet performance has been exemplary for an all season, I finally had the opportunity to test their snow performance yesterday - and they're pretty good. They got tried on dry snow, slush and this morning on ice, with no problems getting anywhere even though it's quite hilly round here. Snow traction and braking are good, snow steering isn't maybe quite as good as Nokians I've used before, but then the Vredesteins are much, much better in the dry/at higher temperatures than they were, so overall they're a winner in my view.

Update. After almost two years and 15 thousand km, I am increasingly convinced that the Quatrac Pro is the best tire I have used so far. Recently he surprised me in a sequence of wide curves tackled at 200 km/h. By now I have become familiar with the shoulder that initially yields but then settles down, allowing you to travel exceptional trajectories for a 4 seasons. Thinking back to how well it performed last winter in Germany with temperatures around -7 and how satisfying it is to use it in sporting use in the torrid Sicilian summers, I have the distinct feeling of owning two dedicated tires in one. Truly stunning product.
