Best Tyres for the Renault Clio iv 1.5 DCI 90ps

Very good quality all-season tires for the price. I have Continental tires on the back of the car, bought 1 month after the Kleber ones. I had a flat, and they behave the same way despite the price difference.

I traveled 37000 km in about 2 years and after half of it, brake and lateral slip problems started.
I had to drive cautiously for the last 20000 km.
It may be due to the region I live in, but I do not have any problems with my winter tires on the same ground.

Hello, here is my update on my Clio 4 after exactly 6994 km. The tires were rotated at 4209 km. The current wear is as follows: 6.6 mm remaining on the front right, 6.8 mm on the front left, 6.4 mm on the rear right, and 6.6 mm on the rear left.

This was my first review: Hello, after watching many tests, I decided on the Conti ASC2. I'm satisfied with it in every way. I haven't tested it on snow and ice, but I'm sure it will be great. The huge disappointment comes from the tire wear. I have them on two vehicles.
A 2008 Scenic (2 front tires) 195/65/15 95V DOT 24, manufactured in Slovakia, and a Clio 4 with 185/65/15 88H DOT 24 tires, manufactured in France.
Initially, the maximum sculptures were 7.7 mm for the 6 Neus.
After driving 5300 km on the Scenic, I have 6.2 mm of tread remaining on the front tires (a loss of 1.5 mm). The rear tires are Goodyear.
After driving only 1300 km with the Clio, I still have 7.2 mm (-0.5 mm) of clearance at the front and 7.5 mm (-0.2 mm) at the rear.
I check my blood pressure every month, I'm meticulous.
Wear and tear is very significant on both cars.
My driving is very smooth and I don't drive on the motorway.
During testing, the Conti proved to be the best in terms of longevity.
I continue my analysis as the kilometers pass.
Have you noticed significant wear and tear on your ASC2?

bought these tyres because they had an excelent price and this size is very expensive compared to other sizes and the tyre shop i go to recommended them as very sporty tyre but i was dessapointed by the feedback and the handling characteristics although the grip is very very good the way it handles is very spongy and really doesnt like to be pushed on the corners the sidewall folds way to much i have two different tyres fitted on the same car previous to these the one the car came from the dealership a yokohama bluearth not sure wich one exactly it was very good tyre and then switched to vredestein sportrac 5 fitted them twice in my opinion the best tyre i have drove on not the grippiest but the handling and roadfeedback where top notch so in conclusion if you want the rainsport 5 because of its price and you want just a very good and safe tyre to drive around sure if you are looking for something like me avoid it and maybe go for something like the falken 320 that i heard so many good words for the only reason i did not go for this myself it was the price

Not very noisy, good grip, even in the wet. Amazing tyre for the price. Would not replace Michelin PS4 or some Continentals with them, but would definitely consider these when choosing between Kumho, Hankook, Vredestein and other tyres in the price range.

New type of Uniroyal Tyre, after driving with them for a few hundred KM: -Noisy at the start, but already getting better. They might need some time to settle/wear. Of course winter tyres are always noisier. -Good grip dry and wet. Haven't seen any snow yet. -Handling: Hard to say. 185/65/15 will always be a tyre with a more flexible sidewall. 18" in summer. So far the tires were fine cornering even at higher speeds and they feel predictable, have not experienced any loss of grip yet.

Extremely noisy tyre, good wet grip though, wear quickly won't buy again

I have done over 100'000 km in these tyres are they still have loads left in the thread. However the side walls are starting to become cracked with age, they have just headed 5 years old. I am going to get the same tyres again because they were so good, hopefully the new ones will last another 5 years and then i will have a new car! Overall they are worth it because you get so long out of them, also great performance and very comfortable.

Having come fitted on our new Clio 4 we were not disappointed. We live in Crete, Greece so 95% of our driving is on dry roads. Having said that the roads here are VERY winding and great fun to push the car around. The tyres make you feel confident and have great grip on tight country road corners. I have never felt at risk from these tyres at all. Our national road ( motorway) is also very winding but the tyres feel well able to handle fast driving on good tarmac. As for the wet, I cannot comment as you always drive carefully after a dry spell when it first rains. I love these tyres for our type of driving but cannot comment on wet conditions.

these tyres are brilliant for winter conditions and cold rain conditions i have them on my 2015 renault clio iv 1.5 dci i have put around 15.000 kilometers in snow and rain and dry conditions in 2 years the wear is fairly good they have about 70-60 % treadlife still on them .the only think that i dont like but i guess its the same in the winter tires is the noise they make and especially when braking . last but not least they are very very good in pooring rain, just 2 days ago i made 650 kms in 1 day in pooring rain almost all day they eat through the water like nothing they grip the road and make you feel safe.
