Falken Azenis FK510 Reviews - Page 9

Given 90% while driving a Alfa Romeo Giulietta (225/40 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 4,000 spirited miles
Much better grip and feed back than previous Dunlop Sportmaxx RTs previously fitted which also wore fairly quickly. Extra confidence in the wet especially noticeable. Noise and ride comfort seem fairly similar. After 4K miles too early to say much on wear. Price was well below premium tyres, ie Pirelli, Dunlop etc and little above some of the real budget stuff, with a level of performance that would appear to be pretty much on par with premium alternatives.

Tyres feel good in the dry. As some of the reviews say they have slow feel initially during a fast turn but then they bite and grip very well. They are good in the wet too and have never lost traction. Feed back is good too you can actually feel what the wheels are doing and can feel the speed you are carrying into a corner. The wear is brilliant so far. Had them 3000 miles now and hardly anything has worn down even with my 200 hp astra gtc biturbo. As I write this the winter weather has hit and temperatures have dropped and you can feel a difference. I don't drive like a mug but you certainly can tell they don't like the cold, but afterall they are a summer tyre. Price is a big advantage too compared to the continental the car came with but seeming falken are made my dunlop quality remains high.

Excelent tires in dry and wet conditions. Very good wear rate in consideration of higway use in a very hot summer season and a wet start autumn ( I live in Italy). No noise to report and a very confortable driving sensations. Higly raccomanded in consideration also about their performance/price ratio.

There's a new all season tire, can it be best?!
Given 98% while driving a BMW 420d M Sport X Drive (255/35 R19 W) on a combination of roads for 1,000 average miles
I have just had these fitted to the rear of my BMW and they were £160 fitted at Bracknell Tyres. Compared to the OEM Bridgestone S001 RFT that were originally fitted these were £60 per tyre cheaper so £120 cheaper for the pair.

I did like the Bridgestone S001 and they wore well at least 25,000 miles and were excellent all round, however after reading the reviews on these Falkens I thought id give them a go. They are A rated for wet grip and C rated for fuel efficiency which is better than the Bridgestones.

So far so good, I will review again at 10,000 miles, but wet and dry grip is excellent and they are progressive when driven spiritly. If these tyres last 20,000 miles I will be very happy with them so lets see.

Excellent tyre. They tamed my 500+BHP rear wheel drive car. They do dry grip and wet grip in a manner that impresses just like a top tier tyre. I was expecting them to be really good, but they were better than that.

I simply love these tyres... They replaced the Pirelli Conti Sports thst were standard fitment on this car from new and it was the best thing I ever did... The car has slight performance enhancements and delivers over 370kw at the rear wheels and these tyres have transformed it... Simply brilliant in normal every day driving conditions and outstanding when they need to be... If you have a higher performance car and enjoy driving do not bother with anything else... Pound for pound the best value for money bar none!

Do not be a tyre snob . I have had Contis , Michelin and so forth on my cars and these Falkens are just as good and a lot cheaper . On the road you will not tell the difference . They are in the top five in most tyre reviews and only a small percentage adrift the winners .Try them you will not be disappointed

These are excellent tyres for the money. I was between Conti Premium 6 and these and the prices was just to good to pass on. Did not regret It, I would consider them the Best Buy in UHP Class.

These were good tyres except one aspect,,that being wear rate. After 20.000 miles the tyres are done. I expected at least 4 to 6 K more since my driving is mixed and rarely did I push them to the limit in b roads. Dunlop sport Maxx rt2 hope will give the mileage o want by keeping all the other good properties of the Falken.
