Methodology & Configuration
Scoring Process
  1. Collect Test Data: Gather results from professional tyre tests across multiple publications. Minimum 1 test(s) required.
  2. Normalize Positions: Convert test positions to percentile scores using exponential weighting (factor: 1.2).
  3. Apply Recency Weighting: More recent tests are weighted higher with a decay rate of 0.95.
  4. Incorporate User Reviews: Factor in user review data (minimum 5 reviews). Weight: 15%.
  5. Bayesian Smoothing: Apply Bayesian prior (score: 7, weight: 1.5) to prevent extreme scores with limited data.
  6. Calculate Final Score: Combine all components using normalization factor of 1.1. Max score with limited data: 9.5.

Top 3 Pace AZURA Pace Reviews

Given 37% while driving a Toyota Kluger (Highlander) (265/65 R17) on mostly town for 23,000 average miles
Garbage Tyre only lasted 35,000kms (23,600 miles), before the shoulder of the Tyre went bald and the middle wore down to the tread marker. The Tyres are quite noisy and fuel economy isn't amazing, one of the Tyes even lost a little tread exposing the wire inside the Tyre! Would never buy this Tyre or Tyre brand again.

Given 46% while driving a Kia Motors Sportage (225/60 R17) on a combination of roads for 20,000 average miles
Rubbish wear. Only got 32000kms normal driving. My Kumhos before this gave me 72000kms

BMW X5 3.0 diesel (275/40 R20) on mostly motorways for 25,000 easy going miles
these tyres were already fitted when i bought this used car. been using them for 32 month, done 42k so far, probably can do another 8k. really desperately want to change them because after 20k they getting really noisy, losing grip on both wet & dry. really scared when cornering over 40kmh. wont buy them again or any budget tyres.

Given 81% while driving a Ford Kuga (235/50 R18 V) on for 20,000 average miles
Got these through Blackcircles quality choice brand and they haven't disappointed. 1 paid £276 for 4 and they have lasted well. Approaching 20000 miles and there is still decent wear left in them. I would place them as a decent mid range tyre for budget money. Not quite a continental in the wet but good grip otherwise. If I can get them again for decent money I will definatley buy again

Given 99% while driving a Mitsubishi Outlander (225/55 R18 W) on mostly country roads for 24,000 average miles
As these tyres are rated XL, on my car - Mitsubishi Outlander GX3 if you don't run them firm, the shoulders wear quickly on the front. Having found the ideal pressure (34psi) for my car, the rolling resistance is perfect and poise on road amazing. Have put 24000 miles on this set so will buy again.

Given 90% while driving a Nissan Qashqai (215/65 R17) on a combination of roads for 52,000 average miles
Bought a Nissan Qashqai In 2010, the original tyres lasted 14000 miles. In 2012 Replaced all 4 with Pace Acura. In 2016 swoped front with back and In 2016 with over 38000 miles on the tyres I sold the Qashqai With 52600 miles on it. Still plenty of rubber. Would buy again.
