  • Responsive steering and balanced feel make the HTR Z5 pleasant to drive, but its limited traction and longer braking distances keep it from being truly competitive. It’s agile but lacks the grip window needed for faster, more confident driving.

Given 79% while driving a Honda Civic Type R (225/35 R19) on mostly motorways for 2,000 spirited miles
Having just completed a trip across Europe to the Nurburgring, then completed laps, these tyres held up extremely well. Although not designed for track use, the grip levels remained high and the wear is virtually nil. Am very impressed for the price point! If on a budget, then would recommend! 8/10.

Given 95% while driving a Ford Focus (235/40 R18) on a combination of roads for 2,000 average miles
Not had them on more than 2 months but have just done a 790 miles drive in one day across Europe speeds upto 125mph. . And can say from an average person’s perspective they are a brilliant tire. They are quiet compared to some of the other brands iv had in the past I’d put them with something like continentals or Dunlop. Would definitely recommend and buy again. Road noise is a big part of my problem with 235/40/18s more so after 13 hrs of motorway driving. And can say these tiers are worth every penny.

Dry grip is as good as any other performance tyre, wet grip is also up there with the other performance tyres.

There's a new all season tire, can it be best?!
Given 69% while driving a Nissan 370Z (275/35 R19) on a combination of roads for 5,000 spirited miles
Excellent dry grip. I maybe abusive to this tire but that said with 8k kms on this set the front tires are half worn while the rears needed replacement. Allow 800kms for proper break in. It will feel down right sketchy. After break-in these grip and become a real fun tire. I am seeing how far the rear will without the extreme abuse. No drifting this time.
