Hi guys, would a size of 225/45 R19 have a rim protector on this tyre?

I've spoken to GT Radial and they say that size does have a rim protector :)

Does the Active Sport 2 tyre size 255/35/20 97y have the rim protection.

Yes, all UHP GT Radial tyres have rim protection. It's not as big as some of the Bridgestone and Pirelli offerings, but it's there.

Given 90% while driving a Holden Commodore VE (245/45 R18) on mostly country roads for 1,200 spirited miles

Great value for money sports tyre, with very good grip levels in the dry and wet. Vastly reduced hydroplaning frequency, and has the ability to take sharp corners at much higher speeds compared to lesser brands. Some increased tyre noise compared to more expensive brands. Highly recommended for the price point.
