These are not great, its not till I replaced these with about 50% tread left on them have I noticed how bad they really are.
The dry grip is nor bad and perfectly safe, but wet is not confidence inspiring and aquaplaning can be quite scary.
They are also quite a harsh ride and the rather noisy.

Running these for 18 months - good choice. Wear is barely visible, road feel is very good and the ride is good as well - note my car! Would certainly have Nexen again.

Had these tyres fitted all-round last summer. Impressed with the Eagle F1 look and the cheap price (on offer at the time for ?28.90 each, delivery only.
Living in the sticks they give good feedback on the country roads, and fare very well on the motorway (100+ miles a day).
Will be putting these on my car again...at the right price.
Had these inflated to 40PSI since new and the uneven wear that others have experianced has not affected me.

Got these as an emergency replacement on the front of my '05 Fiesta. Great when new, plenty of grip and good in the wet. BUT as soon as they had worn enough for the side tread sipe to dissappear, the grip on wet roundabouts just disappeared! If you look at the tread, the middle is actually deeper than the edges, meaning they need changing well before they wear to the legal limit. having them changed wuth 4mm of tread left is not exactly good!

Excelent tyres,
First bought these tyres without knowing anything about them. Have now bought them again on 2 seperate occasions. The pair I have fitted to the rear of my clio still look almost new after 12 months and around 15,000 miles. Have just replaced the fronts after 20,000+ miles on a FWD 1.5DCi.
Got the new pair for a shade under ?94 all in. Absolute bargain and I definitely recommend them.
excellent value for money tyre - compares well to previous continentals and dunlops used. would buy again

Was offered these to substitute Falkens just before Xmas and I think I was lucky to agree being suspicious about their low price. Was able to drive in snow in January on the roads where only tractors and 4x4 could be found. Not sure about the wear as too early. Wet grip is fine.
