Possibly the worst tyres I've ever had on the car. Grip was terrible from new. In any wet conditions there were spinning wheels taking off from a junction, slipping on roundabouts, squeals on corners. May be due to the car itself but they wore slowly across the main tyre surface but very quickly on inner edge. Would absolutely avoid.

Cracked tires before 10.000 kms. Normal use. Normal acceleration, normal braking , except some unexpected events.

These would be good if it never rained. It does however rain. Dangerous hydroplaning and wheel spin under light acceleration during slight rain. Utter Garbage

The first time we had some spring rain I couldn't believe the tyres felt like they were drifting. It was very disconcerting going around a round-a-bout as I felt the tyres slide out from under me. I slowed down on the next turn and it happened again. I guess if I drove at 20kph it may have felt safer. So no I went out and bought new tyres after having these tyres for only 8 weeks. Costly learning experience.

Out of necessity I had to go with Maxtrek Maximus M2 tyres. They’re absolute garbage heavy vehicles like BMW 5er. They’re on rear axil and just does tail spin all the time while negotiating roundabouts in wet conditions. I’m so scared to go at 80 in wet conditions. NEVER AGAIN.

I have had a few brands on my 2005 Ford BA XR6, these Maxtrek,, Maximus M1 235/45 R17, have out preformed all of them except for one, the Pirelli P7, but these Maximus M1’s have out lasted them all, if I have one critisim it is they do have a little louder road noise,,,, I will be buying again, that’s for sure

Great price, the M1 is a good choice for my needs, smooth ride and low noise combined with good handling. I use these on my daily driven Skyline, minimal wear after 2 years of use.

Terrible. Starting driving 12 months ago, car came with these tyres and they are terrible. In the rain, it is like being on ice, any corner theres sideways slide, even as low as 15mph on a roundabout, in the summer, slight power to the accelerator and they are spinning with lack of dry grip. Within 12 months I have lost over 50% of the tyre tread and done 12k miles. NEVER AGAIN

Ive had these tires for two years. The 2 times I had to break abruptly (going 60kmh) the tires were smoking. The worst in wet conditions. Any uphill from full stop is almost impossible. They skate. I feel completely unsafe. They came with the car so I kept them on as we’ve been experiencing a drought and rain wasn’t an issue but now that we’ve been getting tons of rain, I don’t even take the car out anymore.

My very well treaded maximus M1 tyres have nearly killed me in wet weather due to no grip in the wet and taking off at lights is a gamble as your not sure weather you are going to collect the car next to you due to lack of traction I wouldn't recommend these tyres to my worst enemy stay clear if you drive in rain frequently regards a pissed off customer

Low speed corners in wet conditions the outside tyre simply cannot handle it, high speed easy going corners on other tyres this ones simply loses grip and goes wide. Good thing is you can easily feel the limit although is a bit abrupt

Decent in dry conditions but absolutely terrible in the wet weather, really easy to spin setting off from traffic lights and on certain occasions I could feel the car let go.

Easily the worst set of tyres I’ve ever had on a car, fine in the dry but once it’s wet you have to be very careful you will lose grip very easily.
You can almost feel the car trying to lose grip as you go round any sort of slight bend in wet conditions. On a wet roundabout all you get is major understeer unless you drive around really slowly.
Spent the extra few quid on a decent set of tyres.

switched from primacy 4's to these out of necessity.. to put it lightly these tyres feel downright unsafe in relatively any condition
