These tires were a great improvement over Nokian Hakka Blue both in terms of noise and ride comfort. I used both models for touring and city, and I liked Kormoran much better.
The tires are lightweight. Despite the thin sidewalls they are quite strong against potholes. However you might want to put a little more air into these tires for better response.
The grip is great on wet and dry when new. After 15-20kk kms, however, they start to feel more rigid and prone to slipping. There was no significant wear. Grip on wet was still good, but not so much on dry. On polished Balkan city roads ABS could kick in while stopping from 20km/h and flooring the pedal (city traffic situation). Although, no problems on high speeds even in cold weather slightly above 0 C. A bit controversial behaviour, though, still predictable if you learn it. This tire is just not the best choice for hot countries with tarmac roads. Tarmac roads in hot climates are naturally more slippery than in colder climates. This tire works better on grippier roads.
Overall, I like this tire and might consider buying it again, especially, given the price (better brands cost 1.5-2 as much).
