Falken Azenis RS820 255/30 R19 BMW M240i 3,107 miles September 1, 2026

I previously drove on the Good Year Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5.
The tyres are equally good.
The Falken is new now, so it might have more grip than the GY, but its handling is just as good, if not better than the GY.
Plus, the Falken is cheaper.
I'll continue to use this tyre in the future.

Continental WinterContact TS 870 P 255/30 R19 Mercedes Benz C63 AMG 10,000 miles November 8, 2025

I'm about to start season 3 on the same set of 870P's at the front (16,000 km approx) and a fresh set at the back (I had to change them for reasons unrelated to wear). Grip on snow and ice is just amazing, considering this is on an RWD with nearly 500hp... Compared to my summer tires, I find the road feel a bit softer - interestingly, more comfortable - but steering is not as sharp. Not a surprise you would tell me... Grip on dry will set off ESP on gear changes when foot to the floor. On a spirited drive with a bit more caution, the difference with summer tires is not that much. On snow / ice the feeling is safe and predictable. I avoided high snow depths but this car is my daily and will take the highway in *whatever* weather conditions. I have not tried really adverse conditions in narrow winter mountain roads, for general purpose driving in winter these tires are almost too good :)

Same as some of the other comments. Fitted a pair on the back of my 335i as opposed to Run Flats and they were immediately unnerving at higher speeds (+75) on the motorway. The back snakes around. On damp or wet roads the back will step out on a roundabout if too much gas is applied. Considering another tyre after only 1000 miles on these.

Straight away felt the difference after having them installed. As someone who has had multiple track cars and still ride 1000cc track bikes I think I'm in a good position to say that these tyres have a very good dry grip. Very confidence inspiring and had 100% trust in the tyres when pushing on. Wet grip is very good also, never once felt like I couldn't press on in the wet. Surprisingly they also perform pretty well in the snow! An all round great tyre and very well priced!

Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S 255/30 R19 Audi RS3 8V 7,600 miles August 16, 2024

I used to run these on 310bhp cars and were perfect, even got 28k miles out of a set. On my RS3 after less than 8k they are dead, cooked and uneven wear even though suspension was good. The compound they put in newer tyres might be at fault here. Between these and Super Sports, PS4's only win in the cold and last longer generally.

Radar Dimax R8 255/30 R19 BMW Z4 12,000 miles September 1, 2023

Only do about 4000miles a year. The tyres were brand new when I bought the car I’ve done 12000 miles & thought all was good until yesterday when I got a flat tyre warning - on checking there was a 10 inch rupture on the inside wall of the rear near side . The other is showing signs of cracking on so it’s going to be replaced tomorrow. I certainly wouldn’t have again.

My car is a Mercedes C207E400 that came with Conti 5p Great tyre but the life expectancy was poor. The last two pairs fell apart with 5mm of tread left.

Now comes the Goodyear Asi 5 255/30/19 that in my car the comfort , noise , ride comfort was excellent .Driving the car is much better with precise steering and controlled braking Conti 5p

Now comes the major problem , I had a tyre failure today ( my fault ) and Goodyear availability for my new tyre is unknown.

The Asi 5 is no more and the Asi 6 is the new kid on the block , but the rear tyre are not available in the size above.

I bought a full set of Sport Contact 7s for my RS3 Saloon back in February 2023, fast forward to today - 26th May - I have driven approximately 12-14k miles on this set and I could not be more impressed with these tyres. The level of grip in the dry is fantastic and very confidence inspiring. RS3s are known for their understeer but with the SC7s I have experienced very little to no understeer. The 12-14k miles have consisted of a mix of spirited and normal driving however it has predominantly been spirited. These tyres have also seen numerous days at Santa Pod and Donnington Race Circuit and despite all of the hard driving and considerable mileage they are holding up very well. Wear across all 4 tyres have been consistent and currently have approximately 2-3mm tread all round but even at this level the car grips wonderfully in the dry and exceptionally well in the wet. It feels so planted in the wet and is equally impressive, if not more, in the downpours as it does in the dry. By far the tyre of the year, can definitely see and feel as to why the SC7 outperformed the mighty MPS4s and for the price difference, its a complete no brainer. Will definitely be buying these again.
