I drive civic 2005 on city roads in Bulgaria. I’ve been driving 3 summers these kumhos. They are good on the dry roads, fuel efficient too and have a good price. They are good for NORMAL DRIVING and I’m happy with them. Not so good on wet roads.

Very poor. The steering is imprecise. They're dangerous in the water. They're extremely soft on the sides. They pitch when turning. They should be discontinued and practically banned.

I drive a KIA RIO 1.200cc MY 2012, the car was bought new with some lousy HANKOOK KINERGY ECO 425 with which I did 65,000 Km and after I brought them twice front and rear. With the new Kumho [although MADE IN CHINA] the surprises followed one another. At first I was impressed by how quiet they are and they continue to be after 28,000 Km. Then I was impressed by the grip on dry roads which had a confidence and a stability even in braking that won you over immediately and continues to win you over. As for wear and tear, they remain brand new [the car is kept in a garage], and in general the roads in Greece are so slippery that the tires do not have much wear. Now let's go to the only black spot which is the rain. Things are not so pleasant there. Especially in heavy rain there is no proper water drainage. It's like they clog their grooves with water and create a film of water between the tire and the road. Worse than the original Hankooks. So in the water you need special attention. In conclusion, I would dare to say that I would gladly buy them again because I liked their price and because they are an honest tire for the money you pay.

Replace the previous Bridgestone Nextry tyre, the ES31 felt safe & capable in both dry and wet scenario, i am an easy driver in an Ioniq 28KWh, ride is good and didn't notice any bad behaviour. Too early to comment on tyre wear as i had only done around 5000km in it.

As today, it will be 1.5 year that I have Kumho tires on my hatchback. They are really responsive in wet/dry roads. Even in rain they hold great grip. Within these 35k miles that I drove with them I can say that they are great. I tested them even at great speeds (consistent 160 km/h) on motorway and they are holding like a champ. For the price you will get 100% of your € worth.

It's very reasonable for the price (€61/tire), the handling I have nothing to complain about, frankly it holds its own despite the large vehicle I have.
On wet roads it holds up but you shouldn't overdo it either (like taking turns extremely quickly).
Concerning the lifespan... it's ok, I've done 12,000km with it and I'm only halfway through the tires.
Consumption and noise, it's very reasonable I feel the difference between these and the norautos that I had before.

PS: people who say that these tires don't hold up, just skill issues (yet I drive an ocean liner).

- a tire with low fuel consumption and rolling resistance.
- grip on wet ground and especially the brake are very bad
- on dry ground, it meets expectations, but I can't say good

REALLY BAD in the wet, ok in the dry. I have had i30 cars for the past 12 years. In WET conditions, these are the worst Kumho tyres I have experienced... in fact worst tyre ever in 30 years of driving. After 2 losses of control today when driving, I am getting them changed this week even though they are still fairly new.

I bought four of these tyres for my 2003 Peugeot 206. The ADAC spoke positively about this tyre and reviews on this site about this tyre were positive too. Together with the low price of this tyre I thought I couldn't go wrong.

And I wasn't wrong! These tyres are good! Especially in the dry as the tests confirmed. Very responsive steering, and no under or over steer in sharp corners at all. Very impressed!
When it comes to the wet these tyres are great too. Stable and more than enough grip when cornering sharp on wet roads.
Only downside is these tyres slip easily when taking an extreme sharp corner from stand still on wet concrete parking lot floors. I hope you know what I mean.

Confort great too! But sometimes a little bit hard on ledges and ridges but nothing serious.
Noise a little bit too much in my opinion especially on rough tarmac but I need to be careful with this claim as it could also be my car lacking proper sound insulation ofc.
Wear? 2.000 km is too early to say something about it.

Will I buy these tyres again? I think I will!! Even though these tyres are Made in China, they perform very very well. Don't let that be a reason not to buy these guys. Cheers.

Noise 9/10, Very good in dry roads 9/10, good in wet 7/10, wear 7/10.

Great tyres in the dry. Noticable noise reduction and more comfortable than budget tyres. Some unsettled behaviour in the wet during cornering but much improved over the sumitomo tyres that were fitted when I bought the car.

Very goot tyres overall, still in good shape after 51.000+ km, planning to keep them for about another 5000 or 6000 km. Good comfort and grip, hot and cold, dry and wet.

Replaced hankook with Kumho. Very poor grip on both wet and dry. Good comfort but will not buy again.

Great value tyre. Handles as well as the Michelin tyres that were on the car before, but a lot cheaper on price. An additional benefit is that they haven't started to perish, which the Michelin tyres suffered from.
