225/60 R17 Tyres

They were taken off in the first one hundred km as when you turn the steering wheel at 110kmhr and the car goes straight ahead there is a problem. I got a full refund and replaced them. I was driving a Mazda Tribute.

This is a follow-up review of initial impressions poster earlier. These tyres have impressive road comfort, better than my summer Bridgestone Alenza. They are incredibly quiet at any speeds, including highways. They also damping bumps noise pretty good. Wet performance is excellent. Steering feedback is excellent. By far this is the best winter tyre I've ever had.

These are great so far. I don't drive very many miles. I haven't experienced the same degradation (profile blocks coming off) as in the previous Crossclimate Plus. I think that having good all-season year-round, plus chains or socks for the occasional extreme weather or ski trip or frozen parking lot, is the best overall solution.

I used these Hankook Winter i*cept evo3 W330 tires for 4 full winter seasons on a Jeep Compass 2.0 Multijet 4x4. They lasted for roughly 5,500 miles (around 8,900 km). The grip held up exceptionally well as they wore down, providing consistent traction and stability for an AWD SUV in various winter conditions. They offer great value and reliable performance, and I would absolutely buy them again.

I don't usually do a review of the tyres the day I install them. This is an exception. Been long time fan of Scandinavian style winter tyres. Now I live in the area where roads get cleaned before you decide to have fun on the snow. So I went for European winter type of tyres. I drove nearly 20 miles so far but I can say they are incredible on dry road. Nearly impossible to distinguish from summer Bridgestone Alenza. Extremely quiet at city speeds and comfortable.

If you drive country roads these tyres are not for you sidewalls too thin and soft and tear easily

Love them for a atr tire it handles road, Texas snow, rain, and south Texas hill country very well. Even at end of life it handles roads very well. I drove them hard but still wish they were slightly even more wear resistant.

Now nearly 2 years and 20k miles in. These tyres are still as good as they were new and tread has only dropped to 5-6mm all round, suggesting >40,000 miles a set which is more than the OE Pirelli P7 summer tyres managed. Have experienced winter slush and light snow without any grip issues, when the car felt stable and safe, but as I live on the south coast with regular trips to family in Yorkshire, they don’t need to be a dedicated winter tyre. Economy unchanged around 45mpg overall, 50mpg on a motorway run. For my use, these have been very impressive and I would be happy to replace them with another set, although there may be even better choices in 3 years when these should be just about done.
