Mitsubishi Lancer 1.6 VW Polo 6R 1.6 TDI Bluemotion Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 given 89% (235-45-17-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 8500 spirited miles
As i have driven about 10 000 kilometers for 2 seasons with these tyres + 2 casual track days, i am really impressed for its performance. Tyres just gave me more boost of confidence for both braking and handling. Driving on wet was nearly same as driving on dry if we don't count aquaplaning on flooded road. 1 bad thing about the tyres is that it is very sensitive to uneven wear. My tyres were often overinflated as upsizing tyres requires lowering tyre pressure, making middle of the tyre worn more than sides and it made car vibrate too much on higher speeds. Even so, only comfort dropped but not the grip as tyre depth difference between sides and middle was only about 1mm.

Highly recommended premium tyre that can be a steal below 100€ if you have 225/45R17 as standard! I only took 235/45R17 for extra grip.

I Have worn down my second pair and I made 11.000km with pack. Yes it is hard to belive but it is true. I ride Moto Guzzi Norge 1200cc - it has 245kg and me with 115kg. I drive mainly up on regulations.
The tyre is a beast and must have.

I had used it before purchasing the Champiro BXT pro. BXT pro is really good 140km/h not much shaking Champiro Eco good as well as I could not hear the tyre sound due to my exhaust.

Driving on a combination of roads for 1000 spirited miles
Hello! I've driven the Hankook Ventus Prime 4 in 205/55 R16 size with 91H indexes for about 1500 km. I really can't say anything bad about the tires. Great handling on the dry road. On the rough stuff tire behaves nice. When the road is wet grip level is amazing. Comfort is ok, maybe could be better considering the height of the tire wall but that is the only thing that could improve. Fuel consumption is ok.

Had this cz the OEM-equipped tire for my car model, so UC6 SUV type. It will not last for any more than 2 years as at 21k km, the front tire already had sign-off wear on the outer side even though send it for alignment, balancing, and rotates. The dry is ok but not that great as the well known Michelin PS3, PS4 on my other car. The worst is during heavy rain, it just a class below the Michelin tyre grip. Pro is it really quite vs Michelin. Guess the Traction Rating of A instead of AA as Michelin play parts here. Will make it worn out maybe another 1 year and change to other brand like Michelin or Hankook or other brands.

Much better than my old Conti or Bridgestone. Haven’t tried them in snow yet, but they are extremely good value. Some complain about comfort on these, but this is a winter tyre, and as such it is way better than ant other I have tried!

Awful, fell apart almost as soon as put on. Wouldn’t use their services ever again if they offered to repair and pay me

These came with my early 19 Kawasaki Z1000SX. These are without a doubt the worst tyres I’ve ever experienced. Unless the road is burning hot and totally smooth you can’t get them warm enough at sensible riding sprees to grip with any level of confidence. Riding in the wet is to be avoided at all costs. Even gentle Leaning in the wet makes the rear slip and twitch. Changing them out at 3.5K. The rear has badly squared off.

As a daily driver (Alpina 3 BiTurbo) the 4s (non run flats) get thumbs up in wet and dry for traction, cornering and braking. No complaints on fuel economy considering they're 245f & 265r but can be noisy on poor surfaces (when I've run them run above 35/36psi in the summer) When sporty driving on the limit into bends they can feel short on turn in feedback but it's probably because they're that planted, biting in and doing whats expected of them without a fuss. Confidence giving in summer and wet winter conditions, no comment for ice/snow conditions :-)

My size is very odd in Malaysia so theres little to no performance tyres. I have been on almost 3 sets of ATR Sport. THose things are terrible at wet but great at dry, before 50% used at least. TR1 is great at wet, previously with the same wet road I would just glide lol. TR1 managed to grip and slow me down, impressive. They are both a few bucks different only. I drive a Proton, nothing in the list haha
