Mercedes Benz E220Cdi Tyre Review Highlights
Have them on a mercedes benz e220 RWD. I realy dont like them. I have the studded version and my review is only based on winter driving in Iceland. When driving at around 80 to 90 km/hr i will have snapp oversteer when im going up gradual hills or maby accelatating. I have had other RWD cars with yokohama studded tyres and they were mutch better and not so unpredictable. I have coverd at least 25k km and i cant wait to replace them with a premeum brand. About 70% of the studds still remain.

With Mercedes w211 very poor tyre. Dangerous and unpredictable. The car was always with esp active even if I didn’t notice the car was sliding the front, in slow inclined curves. To the point that the mechanic thought it was a problem with the car. Bad in dry , long distance for braking and a nightmare in wet sliding the front of the car abruptly.
Mostly had Michelin tyres with no problems.
Last ones were primacy 4 made in Poland and no problems. These e primacy Mo certified, are from Spain and so far the worst tyre I had.
Spent several hundred euros in tests with the car because we thought it was a mechanical problem. Even changed all abs sensors. The car is fine.
Changed for Toyo and the car is normal again.
Representative from Michelin didn’t comment or was of any help.
May be bad luck with these ones. However they last much more then average. If only they were not dangerous would be perfect.
Less noise then the Toyos and comfortable if going straight ahead.
Tried all the pressures recommended in Mercedes manual. Didn’t made any difference.

Good tires, strong sidewalls, good grip in Wet and dry.

I was skeptical at first. The tire looks heavy but surprisingly it is consuming less fuel than the goodyear asymmetric 3(which are completely garbage).
I am very satisfied so far, I have not tried them on snow and ice yet. I would buy them again.

Completely deformed tyres after 1 year of usage. Try to balance them 2 times, but after some kilometers you still can feel terrible shaking, strongly don't recommend this tire to anyone. I'm very disappointed with Goodyear, I will not buy Goodyear tires anymore for sure.

I bought those tires in October 2021. Overall, the tires were amazing, on par with Michelin X-Ice North 4, which I have on my other car. Most of the time, the tires were used on highways mixed with relatively little city driving. The driving style was gentle, as the car has always on ASR, that makes sideways driving unpredictable.
After about 5k miles, there is still a lot of rubber to go, but the studs have given out. They work perfectly fine when accelerating/braking, but they have turned into skis when cornering. The studs are rectangular in shape and the sides of the studs have rounded off, making them not grip on ice on lateral motion. I found it out when I was driving on black ice on a windy day and an oncoming truck caused the car to fishtail at 45MPH.
I really liked those tires, but I can not recommend them due to the stud rounding out issue.

I drive MB E220d All terrain 4matic, front tires are 245/40R20 and rears 275/35R20. Fitted them in July and made approximately 5000 km with them. Dry grip is good, I am not a sporty driver, driving style covered in written mileage is mostly highway and b roads as well as city driving. Driving in wet is little slippery until they don't warm up, afterward is very good. Regarding wear, after 5000 km I don't see any signs of wear. Overall I am very satisfied with ttyres especially with price I have bought it for.

I have Barum Bravuris 5hm 245/45/17 on a Mercedes Benz E class, at first they seemed ok,after 10.000 km the noise is unbeliveble, I can not stay in the car any more with these tires, it's like an air plane taking off... At first I thought I had a damaged bearing on the front axle,I can feel the vabrions in the steering wheel and on the pedals, even on the floor of the car, I checked ..they were ok, I went to check the aligment ..it was ok, everithing was green on the screen... When temperature outside is above 33 degrees the noise dissapears almost 80%. When temperature outside is between 15-25 degrees it's the worst, the vibration starts once I get to 40km/h, it sounds like a really damaged bearing.. and I have all 4 tires Barum Bravuris
