Fitment comes from each tyre's manufactured size list, and the sizes are the ones drivers reported when they reviewed. Check the size, load index and speed rating on your own doorplate before buying - a size a previous owner ran is not always the size your car left the factory on.

How long do tyres last on the Suzuki Swift?

Across 26 end of life reviews from Suzuki Swift drivers, a typical set of tyres was worn out after 20,000 miles. Half of all worn-out sets lasted between 8,000 miles and 25,000 miles.

Distances are self-reported by drivers whose review marked the set as worn out; figures are medians, so a single unusual report cannot move them.

Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 195-45-17 Suzuki swift sport 45,000 miles October 28, 2026

Near the end the sides started to disintegrate but after so many km driven that's probably normal. Front tires lasted 60k km, the rear lasted 75k km. I bought them again, got a punctured sidewall at 30k km, the tires were still like new.

Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE004 195-50-16 Suzuki swift sport 40,000 miles October 23, 2026

Dry Grip: very good grip with stiff side walls. Sharp handling.
Wear: wear is just ok. Considering that the swift sport is rather light. Tires are about done with 3mm left after 60000km. Don’t want to risk going down to wear bars as torrential rain is quite common here.

We use our Suzuki on paved roads with some rough parts due to recent wet weather. These tyres are great all rounders. Good ride, grip and decent handling. If you are a spirited driver then maybe these tyres aren't for you.

Joyroad Sport RX6 205-45-17 Suzuki Swift Sport 1.4 ZC33S 10,000 miles August 17, 2026

This tires makes fun car no more fun anymore. Awful wet grip, awful dry grip, zero feedback from the road, too loud. Even at dry, with just a %70 brake pressure you can get the fronts locking up. For the money they do allow me to drive my car though, i paid around 280 usd for four tires. Though i really beg anyone that thinking about this tire, if you're only getting it for short A to B trips then sure its worth the price. If not, just get something thats better, which won't be hard to find, almost any tire is probably better than this. I switched from the OEM Contisportcontact5 tires (they were 6 years old at the time, dry rotted) to the Joyroads, and honestly it never felt like an upgrade, even the 6 year old worn conti's were almost on par with these tyres. But you get what you pay for, they definitely do held up, i cant tell any signs of worn.

Michelin Pilot Sport 4 195-45-17 Suzuki swift sport 10,000 miles August 6, 2026

Good tyre overall, not much choice in my dimension 195/45 17, this is one of the best summer tyre choices for the Swift Sport MZ and FZ.
Very good wet grip, even in colder conditions. At 6° Celsius still confident in wet braking and wet handling. Dry grip is good but newer tyre compounds are better. After all the PS4 came out in 2016, so a newer compound like Conti PremiumContact 7 from 2022 or Hancook Ventus Evo K137 from 2025 will perform better. But only if you go to 205/45 17 dimension. In 195/45 17 you can't get the newer tyres.
The PS4 dry braking is 7.5/10 and dry handling is good, not the ultimate in feel, but very stable and high limits. Noise level medium. Relatively stiff side wall, not the best in comfort. Which is why I will go to a higher sidewall. 205/45 has 92,25mm height and now with 195/45 I have 87,75mm.
Wear after 10000 miles/16000 km is minimal, very good for how soft the compound feels.

Nankang Sportnex AS3 205-40-17 Suzuki swift sport 1,500 miles July 23, 2026

In the past, I drove on strictly sports-oriented tires like the Nankang NS-2R and Bridgestone Potenza Sport. Both of them were simply phenomenal in terms of absolute grip. I actually ended up choosing the summer Nankang AS-3s because of the winter season—after a very positive experience with the Nankang AW-6 winter model, I decided to give the AS-3 a chance after running the more aggressive NS-2R. The result? I am extremely satisfied with them.

What impressed me the most about the AS-3 is their refinement. They are exceptionally quiet and comfortable, yet responsiveness wasn't sacrificed at all. The sidewall is stiff enough to keep the steering really precise. During sharper cornering, you know exactly what is happening under the wheels; the tire doesn't roll over and reacts instantly.
Another huge surprise is their behavior on wet roads—they are downright excellent in this regard and provide immense confidence even in heavy rain.

Direct Comparison with Competitors
vs. Nankang NS-2R and Bridgestone Potenza Sport: Understandably, the AS-3 has slightly less absolute grip on dry tarmac, which was to be expected when moving away from the semi-slick / UHP category. However, in normal traffic or during spirited driving on backroads, it doesn't bother me at all.
vs. Michelin Pilot Sport 4: This is where the Nankang AS-3 really scores. In terms of driving feel, I actually find the AS-3 even better and, most importantly, quieter than the highly praised PS4. Given the price difference, that is a massive compliment.
Final Verdict
The Nankang AS-3 are budget-friendly tires that easily give much more expensive premium brands a run for their money. They offer a great mix of precise steering, top-tier wet performance, and everyday comfort. If you don't need to chase lap times with the NS-2R but are looking for a reliable, quiet, and superbly controllable tire, the AS-3 is a fantastic choice.

Falken Sincera SN110 Ecorun 175-65-15 Suzuki Swift 2,000 miles May 30, 2026
i have replaced bridgestone ep150 and conti ts870 (both in original size - 185/55r16 for suzuki swift 2024 1.2 hybrid ) with sn110s. Size of falkens is 175/65r15. Road noise is terrible with bridgestone, a tad better with conti but still very apparent (turkish rough asphalt, japanese b class hb car and winter tyres or eco summer bridgestones are not good matches). There is almost no road noise now. Funny thing is that sn110 looks like thin bike tyre with higher side walls compared to original ones but i feel almost no difference in handling. I think that there is a slight trade-off for comfort, which is consumption. I was expecting a little decrease in my mpg but since it is same.. Well i can tolarate against loud trips. So far so good, i hope level of quiteness goes on like this as long as possible.

BFGoodrich g Force Phenom TA 215-45-17 Suzuki Swift Sport 1.4 ZC33S 20,000 miles April 23, 2026
These BF Goodrich Phenom were in fact so much underrated that it suppose to be. I'm on the second set on these awesome rubbers!

Dry grip is above my expectation with the correct setup of suspension and camber + toe setting, an ease of corner abilities by holding the car in each corner after corner. Sidewall is tough enough to support the weight transfer of the car during absolutely spirit driving.

Wet performance is above average, they tend to grip well and doesn't prone to any aqua planning hazard, at least from my personal usage during heavy rain with puddles of liquid on road.

Comparing against previous tyre, Yokohama Apex, Pilot Sport 5 and MC7, these tyre easily gain better performance than the rest any time, giving its price to performance.

Only cons is that, road noise significantly loud after 50% tread life, well, its an UHP anyway.

Continental WinterContact TS 860 S 195-45-17 Suzuki Swift Sport 1.4 ZC33S 3,000 miles March 16, 2026
Fitted on my car and driven for some 3 months, since I previously had WinterContact TS 860 (without S suffix) on my previous car.
Not sure what changed between S and non S version of this tire, but it lost a bit of ability in the snow and gained handling capabilities in the snow and ice.
Braking is still strong, but bellow Michelin Alpine5.

Michelin Alpin 5 205-50-17 Suzuki Swift Sport 1.4 ZC33S 15,000 miles March 16, 2026
A very good winter tire, very durable, incredible bite in the snow.
A car wearing these can traverse some serious snow inclines.
