It's the start of the 2021 all season and winter tyre test season, and what better way to start than the massive Auto Bild winter tyre shootout.
This year Auto Bild have tested FIFTY 205/55 R16 winter tyres in wet braking, then tested the best thirty five in snow braking. With the wet and snow braking distances combined, the top twenty tyres, from Bridgestone to Nokian, will feature in the full Auto Bild winter tyre test out in a few weeks.
As always, the spread in braking performance from best to worst is quite frankly terrifying, from 32.1m to 45.4m stopping distance in the wet.
Keep an eye on the site for lots more winter tyre tests over the coming days.
