I was very impressed with the amount of grip, considering they are all-season tyres, both in wet and in dry conditions. I remember accelerating through a roundabout (in dry conditions) and expecting the car to understeer (FWD), but it just gripped and continued in the same trajectory. Although I haven't specifically tried to, they have never spun when accelerating, in neither dry or wet conditions.
They have also been very comfortable and quiet.
Although I cannot speak in terms of wear yet, they are some of my favourite tyres I have used.

Came from Pilot Sport 5 and tried Ultrac Vorti +, I must say that UV's have WAY better dry grip and feel/handling then PS5's, dry grip right from the get go is very good but once you warm them up, they are crazy! Lots of people say TT RS mk3 (8S) is prone to understeer but with these tires, I never experienced any understeer, mind that I am really pushing my car hard (twisties and highway).
One thing they are not the best is wet, PS5s are much "safer" in both wet braking and wet grip/handling. With UVs I had couple of "scary" moments so I am little more careful when it's wet. Oh yeah, can't forget the sidewall.. UVs have really stiff sidewall and I LOVE IT, PS5s felt too floaty in corners while UVs feel really stable, but sidewall looks of PS5 are on another level compared to UVs.
Comfort is better on PS5 but I don't expect comfort from UUHP tires so i don't really care about that... the wear is definitely higher on UVs, I will rotate them soon because fronts are around half way while rears look "brand new", with PS5s I did more then 20k km and they looked brand new, so wear was insane! but again I don't care how long tire will last because I am after ultimate grip and feel :)
To sum it up:
PS5 if you want boring safe bet tire / UVs if you want grippy direct sporty tire for super good price (that is still safe btw)
I have had these tyres on my Audi TT 2.0 TFSI Quattro for a year and a half now and coming from an avid PS4S user I must say I'm shocked at how good these are for the money! They were about £70 per corner cheaper than the PS4S' for the TT in 255/35/19 so initially I was sceptical but I am amazing at the handling, dry AND wet grip they provide and the longevity of the tyres! I have covered a good mix of country roads, motorways and long trips across Europe in the year and a half I have had these on and they have never missed a beat! I'm so confident in the wet, even when driving very "spiritedly"! Granted they aren't as comfortable as a BluEarth GT AE51 for example but the car is lowered on coil overs so its not all the tyres fault. 10/10 would defiantly purchase again and recommend to others.
Great value for money for the tread wear (softness). Nothing unusual for a trackday tyre like this to need a bit of heat to really work but still decent enough dry grip when cool. Like another review states, they make a sound like a wheel bearing or rear diff has worn at motorway speeds 60/70mph. I was glad I found that review as it helped reassure me it was the tyres and not something more expensive wrong with the car.
Optimal dry grip, quite similar to a semi-slick. Wet grip is also above average. At ambient temperatures of 10°C or below, the tire loses a lot of grip. Durability is poor with sporty driving. Average mileage on the front axle: 15,000km, average mileage on the rear axle: 20,000km. The tire provides pure driving pleasure, and I've been using it exclusively for many years.
In size 225/40 (r18), their tread width is comparable to other makers ~205. Well, does it matter? Yes, in the sense that when you install them onto an 8.5 wide rim, you'll notice that you're stretching the fit, and the sweating starts. Installing a tire alone with a basic tire machine is no longer possible. If I had known this, I would have happily gone for at least 235 wide so MAYBE they would match the 215-225 tires from other manufacturers. I have the tw100 model, if that matters.
I replaced my worn Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires with the Pirelli P Zero PZ5 after watching a video review. Given that the PZ5 is a newer-generation tire, I had slightly higher expectations.
Comfort has notably improved—especially over small surface imperfections—compared to the PS4. However, the overall feel is more subdued. While the PS4 had a distinctly sporty, almost go-kart-like character, the PZ5 leans more toward a touring-oriented experience. That sharp, immediate connection to the road is something I miss with these tires.
Steering response is noticeably softer in the initial degrees off-center, and the tire takes a moment to settle into corners. Cornering grip is excellent, but due to the muted feedback, I actually felt slightly more confident with the PS4—though this could vary depending on whether the car is front-, rear-, or all-wheel drive.
The compound feels very soft, which is apparent both in the ride quality and performance. In high temperatures (sunny weather above 30°C), grip deteriorates somewhat in very tight, low-speed corners, resulting in mild understeer as the soft compound starts to give way.
I can't compare it to other tires of the same generation, but compared to the PS4, the PZ5 is clearly better suited for daily commuting and long-distance driving. For spirited driving, however, I expected a bit more precision and engagement. That said, I wouldn’t say it's worse than the PS4—just different, particularly in my current AWD setup.

They were good at first version.. now they are made very soft sidewalls and no more sporty driving or feedback it's more a tourism tire now.. spirited driving around canyons will last 3000km and sidewalls are gone even with 1.4 negative camber. 300km and 40% of sidewalls are already gone. Very disappointed they are not the same anymore they probably changed compound that's my 3rd set and only 1st set felt as the reviews said.
These tires are amazing, they combine road comfort and high performance. The sidewall is a little softer than I would like, but increasing tire pressure to 40 psi mostly negates this. The grip is incredible, so predictable and consistent, dry or wet, it just hooks onto the road and doesnt let go. The grip gets even better when the tires heat up. Car feels very stable under braking and hard acceleration. Definitely a good choice for a high performance car that doesnt really go on the race track much, great for normal roads. 10/10 would get a speeding ticket again.
Bought a TTRS with these tires on and I wasnt impressed. Not sure why would anyone put tires like these on a high performance car. Its fine in the drive and warm, but when it rains the car suddenly snaps and end up going sideways around the roundabout and traction control lights up even in 3rd gear. Taking these off and replacing them with Michelin PS this week
