I have this tyre for 3 years. I'm driving 80% on motorways and 20% short distances. I made 55000 km. Now i have 3-4mm of tread and they are due to replace.
When new the grip in dry and wet were exellent. The only negative i had is that they were a bit noisy, especially on certain tarmac. After 2 seasons tread went down to 5mm, wet grip started to get worse and noise level increased even further. Now i have between 3-4 mm of tread left and in the wet grip is gone, dry grip is getting bad. Car is slipping a lot and is not safe to drive anymore. They are also now very noisy on the motorway. I was happy with them for the first two seasons, but a tyre shouldn't lost grip at 5mm of tread. Never had this problem with pirelli and goodyear.

Fitted 2.5 years ago on Ford CMax. Around 12,000 miles driven since & our trusted garage said they had perished, would fail the MOT & needed replacement.

Solid and safe everyday tires.
They do everything well if you use them as they should be used and they have no weakness until you push them.
But they are not sport (uhp) tyres. You can push them, they will survive, but outer shoulders will wear fast. As expected, softer sidewall and less precision than usual sport tyre.

I had unfortunately inherited these death trap tyres (Antares 68) when I brought my car, Ford C Max. I have been driving for 26 years and I have never feared for my life until I drove on these.
You feel like the car is not connecting to the road and at any point you will loose control. Driving on the dry is pretty scary especially on corners but when it rains it’s a whole new story. At 35-40 miles per hour you are in constant fear of spinning out of control, it felt like an ice ring, very hard to keep under control and 0 grip in wet weather.
Do not be tempted by cheap price, you get what you pay for, invest in better well named tyres. I changed mine straight away.
In my opinion they should be removed and chucked in the skip never to be sold again. Avoid at all costs!

I've bought Ventus Prime 4 after i used Hankook Kinergy 4S2 for 3 years. Ventus Prime 4 is a tyre with great handling. Behaves and grip excellent in all conditions and even at colder temperatures. Wear is ok after 6 months, not visible yet. Highly recommend these. They were pretty cheap also.
put these on a cmax on all 4 ! I had vreds ultrac satiln on and was a nice ride but you had to put the extra psi in as they always looked flat and wear was about avrage so once they ran out i thought i would try the new and improved ultrac and to be truthfull they are a massive impovement the walls are reinforced dont look flat grip very good in wet and dry steering feels light no fancy pattern on the side which is a shame (love the tyre gel) the only down side is you may get a holo sound when cold inside cabin just a slight one but flik the radio on and off you go!!!!!

Tyres provide confidence in all weather. On the few occasions we had snow, they were great! On wet, slushy ice they were not as impressive as on fresh snow, but so much better than summer tyres.
I bought for the first time budget and not premium tyres to see the difference. After 5000km I have to admit that the difference is almost not noticable in everyday easy driving. When you get sporty then you can spot some differences.

The steering is much lighter and you get the feeling that the car is going to slide. But this is only a feeling.
It is not a UHP tyre. I cannot compare it with Michelin Pilot Sport for example or Continental SportContact.
Still can not say anything about wear.
Conclusion:
A very adequate tyre for every day use in the city and in motorway but not for sporty driving. You get more than you pay for sure. If it lasts for 40000 Km it would be a must buy tyre for the average driver
I've used a set of these tyres for 4 years and 50,000 miles, I rotate them front to back at every service interval for even tread wear and now have 2-3mm of tread left on them and I am only changing them now as I want the full 8mm of tread depth for the coming winter. Overall I'm delighted with them and I am now buying a set of CrossClimate 2 to replace them. The dry and wet grip with these tyres has always been good. I used to fit winter tyres for the cold seasons but I have never been stuck in snow with these CrossClimate+ tyres. They are very quiet (much quieter than the Bridgestone/Hankook combination I previously used) and I have reduced my running costs as I do more mpg now too. Overall they have been exceptional for what I need them for.
