Looked for a good, road bias all season for my old 2007 Defender and went against the grain and chose these. 3 winters down and I can say they are the best performance to price tyre I have ever fitted. Seems like they were designed for this vehicle and they perform really well off-road too.

Garbage, cheap and dangerous tires. All 4 tires were cracked around the entire circumference of the tires. Could have been extremely serious if they blew up on the highway. I WILL NEVER recommend or buy these tires again. Extremely disappointed in Hyundai Canada’s lack of customer service.
Very happy about the noise. No noise at all till 120-130km/h. Very durable, been on rocks etc no problem, excellent grip on dry, no problem on wet, i just didnt force them on the limit. Experience on gravel was very good, very nice grip. i didnt test them on ice, been a few times on snow with no problem.I think i need 0,5l/100km more diesel
One of the best tires I've ever used. I used Chinese-made Sunny and Dunlop winter before.
Nice comfortable tire. On par with the name brands. Good handling in wet and snow. A true all season tire. Also, provides decent gas mileage.
Put a set of these on fathers Freelander 2 about 2 years ago he has done roughly around 10,000 miles on them and they have worn well. He says it's the best set of tyres he has ever had and he's had a few being old as tree's. Says they're quiet (but he's hard hearing). Sometimes he mounts kerbs, tracks towards ditches and drives on the white line bless him, he's not had any punctures or damage so I'd say these are quite tough. Seen him tow his caravan through a snowy field, so I'd say traction is really good. I will be getting him another set in 2 years time if they available as they seem to be keeping him on the road lol.

The initial impression is excellent, both in wet and dry conditions. For me, it's the ideal combination of feedback, directness (despite the high cross-section! - thanks to aramid-reinforced sidewalls), strong grip, and high comfort.
I was already quite satisfied with the Powerproof SUV. In between, I briefly used the Wetproof 1: the grip was also very good, but in direct comparison, it had significantly less direct steering.

My problem with the Michelin Crossclimate SUV has been the treadwear and how the tire has deteriorated. Please see photos.
Upon noticing the tires being bald on the inside and rubber pulling away from the tread of the tires, Michelin was contacted directly. We did as ask, took it to an approved shop to be inspected by a certified mechanic. The condition of the tires was confirmed. However, here is the bad part. Although they have a 50,000 mile warranty or 6 years from dated of purchase, we fell outside of the 6 years by 3 months and 4 days. Please understand, while the tires lasted 28,404 miles, it's the way the tires deteriorated.
They were rotated every 5,000- 7,000 miles. We don't drive much.
Michelin offered to reimburse 25% of a new set of tires. Before this, I equated the Michelin brand with a company which stood behind their products. After this, my confidence in Michelin has crumbled.
